Who cares what color...why not silver or gray then.
Best game I've ever been to
But what would they be surrendering?
were there many Philthy fans there?
Pretty much this. Also white is easier to see and notice. So a dark color towel would not be the same.

No. Fewest I've ever seen at a Cowboys/eagles game.were there many Philthy fans there?
They use white because our home Jerseys are white I would assume. Don't they refer to it as white out?
Your section maybe, but there were very few there in general. I literally had zero in my section. There were like 2 in the section over.Unfortunately, yes. My section was filled with them. It was disappointed but rewarding at the end!
The meaning of the white towels literally never crossed my mind until this thread lol. I think it looks great though, the sea of white and blue looks fantastic. It stands out more than a blue or gray would. I can tell you for a fact that the towels help keep fans engaged because I went with three guys that were going to their first game. Two were Cowboy fans and were great. One just started watching NFL and waved the hell out of that towel.

My friend dresses up like a ref and throws yellow flags at eagles fans. He also handed out Ring Pops, telling them that was the closest thing to a Super Bowl ring they'll ever see. It's all in fun.basically none in mine and because I am in the visitors side i am in the prime area where they end up. Almost none.
I will say this, all those johnny come lately fans who are showing up because they are winning in parking lot 11 last night were awful to the eagles fans. I saw some 50 year old cowboys fans taunting and smacking some teenage eagles fans with foam fingers and throwing paper cups at them. Pretty classless stuff. Those are the same fans who would start fights if the eagles fans did that to them.
my 3 favorite games I've been to were the
1. Greenbay NFC championship when Troy hit Harper for that long 97 yard TD I believe it was.
2. 94 Thanksgiving game against KC when Dale Carter got ejected
3. 2011 SF game when Romo punctured his lung
White looks better on TV.I know this started a few years ago, but who chose white when blue couldve been used instead? I honestly dont care for them waving towels, let the stealers have that, but if you have to then wave blue instead of white.
