It's funny that some of you think comparing us to some of the worst run franchises in the league somehow justifies what a great job Jerry is doing. Hahahaha.

And for the record, over the same 25 year period the Jets have won 7 playoff games to our 4. The Vikings have 8 playoff wins to our 4.

At least the Lions have zero playoff wins and the Skins only 2 playoff wins over that time period. So we got those two joke franchises beat!

What's funny is its not a comparison.
Its a statement of fact.

Retreads and first timers are all there are. Those are the only two choices. How many coaches have brought more than one team to the SB? How many have even brought one team to multiple SBs? Jerry definitely wants to make more decisions than he should, and that makes it harder to find a coach who can succeed while making room for Jerry, but he seems to be giving up some of his control the past few years, and maybe Mike can be the guy who gets to lead this team to #6...or more.

But hey, if you wanna be negative and expect the worst, that's your prerogative. Have fun.

If they do in fact underachieve, I think I'll have more fun hoping they'll win, and be more disappointed on game days when they lose. But I think you'll be missing out on the fun of hoping they win, yet I don't think you'll really be much less disappointed than I am when they lose.

Last time this team won anything they had pedigree at the QB position. Dak is too inconsistent to put this team on his back at crunch time. This team needs a polarizing leader in the locker room who can over come the dysfunction of this organization. Daks a bus driver and can't do it without everything being perfect. In the last 25 years the Cowboys have had double digit wins 7 times. 4 times over 10 wins. And only 3 seasons where you could say Dallas was a serious contender. That's 12%.

I have been a realist for a long time. I don’t sugarcoat, make excuses or ignore problems that the team has. I make plenty of positive posts when the topic deserves it. As for my personal life, I am a realist as well. There is good and bad in everything. The difference between us is that I don’t ignore reality.
