I understand business and sometimes you have to say good bye to good people or occasionally you are unsure of what is the best decision but why do we have to always be the last ones in making these decisions?

We know when FA starts, is it too much to ask to be proactive? We knew we weren't going to keep Ware at his current salary, why wait until the deadline? We know when we draft rookies and when training camp starts but almost every year we are pushing the deadline to get everyone into camp. Romo know what the play clock is, but he waits until it winds down to get the play off?

It starts from the top, making late decisions and filters to the team. Or its just the Cowboys loving the drama! Drives me nuts, ha..

Come on Cowboys, let's get it together, die hard fan no matter what even if I know we (fans) deserve better.

Um, are you not in the business world? 90% of deals get done right before deadlines. It's just how it works. Oh, and a lot of your post is just nonsense -- the Cowboys have always been one of the better teams about getting rooks into camp.

They are? You would think not as many times as we see posts chock full of concern when other teams start signing their choices.

Last year, Cowboys did better job on getting in rookies, but not prior to that. Maybe the new rookie scale will allow Cowboys to keep trend from last year. I truly hope so.

The OP is simply suggesting that the Cowboys make some changes in the way that the team conducts business. Are the Cowboys required to follow the rest of the "business world"? I know you like to defend each and every decision that the Cowboys make, but the OP has the same right to express his opinion and make his suggestions. If anything, defending every move the team makes is nonsense.

Funny how all the trolls have the same exact responses.

Yes, business deals often work this way. The OP is axing WHY.
I imagine it half cross our minds often: Is there a better way?
Can we do what other teams half done in the past week? And that be shedding players they those team KNOW they will shed, so do it now instead of being drama queens and milking the suspense from ever udder to the very last minute.

Many peeps ax Why? The OP, like me, we see things and ax Why Not?
Because this is the way yo daddy did bidness that shold not govern what you do. Simple.

Accept the question as to why we do things the way we do and let the conversation begin and then commence.

There is no deadline. They can cut Ware two months from now if they want.

People here have said that all businesses do this, and that is not true. Not only is it not true of all businesses it isn't true of most nfl teams that have been handling their business over the last week cutting players or resigning them.

Look..

all these teams operate like it's on a war footng.

Stealth..disinformation, mis-information and rumor are all part of the process.

Be patient.

No one does. Doubt he does either.

That is very general to say "No one does." I ax you: Did you take a pole? If not then you are just being emotional and stuff and saying the first thing that comes to your mind. Like the time you told that gal that that dress did not make her look fat, her face did. And weren't your cheeks red? Your facial cheeks.
