Of that group, I see James as the only one being traded--only because we're very deep at linebacker and the likelihood of Carpenter taking over his starting slot.

That's a trade that could happen next year, but I doubt it happening this year. Carpenter still has a lot to prove.

Someone mentioned Tyson Thompson being traded, but I just don't see that happening. Coming off a season-ending injury and has no real film of what he can do in the base offense.

exactly what I meant. You wanting something to happen means nothing.
And I will love to see camp go by and no trades at all. And love the thought of you gritting your teeth. I love to see people get frustrated when something they want does not happen.

The problem with that is that he never said he wanted these things to happen. He said he got the feeling that something like this might happen. It was his opinion on the situation, and asked fellow cowboy fans, if they shared the same views. Instead of trying to create something that isn't there, you could discuss the point of the topic.
