Passionate is not strong enough a word for them - not even close.

Throwing snowballs at Santa, urinating on the head of opposing fans, even stealing artificial legs from Vietnam Vets.

I was halfway thinking the National Guard would have to be called into Philadelphia after the game Sunday. And I wonder if NJ Gov. Chris Christie will receive death threats for being aired doing a high five with Jerry Jones. Again, semi-serious - are they running more public service announcements for people that are suicidal?

What is it - WHAT? Honestly think it crosses the line from fandom to mental disorder.

I want to dedicate this video to all the Eagles fans - :star:Blue Christmas :star:

The Eagles "passion" is one that's foolishly dictated by their thug mentality. Apparently, they're too stupid to see the harm in giving themselves and their "city of brotherly love" a despicable image. They routinely supply living proof of the saying that "ignorance is bliss."

Culture, once it's defined, can be self-reinforcing. At some point those idiots embraced a trajectory of rowdiness and disrespect towards other fans, and now they can't change it without a monumental effort to do so. Some of it stems from the coaching they've had--you can't tell me those Buddy Ryan years that were considered 'classics' didn't feed the snake down there. When your head coach (when he was previously serving as a DC) will pop a coordinator on his own team in the face, you pretty much know you're rotten from the head down.

The booing Santa antics and having police in the vet and the vomiting on children stuff is just trickle-down behavior like dribble coming out of the mouth of the moronic stain of the organization they wanted to become. They're the worst, and they actually think it's cool.

They're getting worse and worse like that because it's a badge of honor now with the Eagles fan. They see it as something to strive for to be the most classless, foolish, disgusting, and flat out stupid fans possible.

Perfect description. I heard today, they hate the Cowboys more than they love the Eagles. How much sense does that make? They had Eagles fans that confirmed it.

Because people who aren't any where near the city keep perpetuating the stereotype....it's not really that bad trust me.

Multiple fans have gotten killed in the Bay Area in recent years....But Philly threw snow balls at Santa Clause 20 years ago!!!!

I have said this many times about many fans of various teams...they hate other teams more than they love their own.

Have seen pictures of Skins or Eagles fans with tattoos of the star with the No Symbol around it or the little calvin character peeing on it.

You go and get a tattoo like that you are hating another team more than you love your own.

Stupidity.

Inferiority Complex is the reason why. They've had some good teams, but never good enough.

I watched Jerry Seinfeld's web series and he was talking with a comedian from Philly and they talked about Philly's fans. The comic said he went to a game where the fans booed a dog. It was either pre-game or halftime entertainment and they had a Frisbee catching dog. The poor dog dropped one of the Frisbees and all the fans started booing. LOL

without a doubt mental illness has set in for Eagle fans. Blame it on their history and lots of bad karma. They mostly suffer from inferiority complex and this was pointed out on #cowboysbreak and proof is in fact that Eagle fans hate Dallas more than they like Eagles.

Hasn't there been at least one Philly sportswriter calling out the fans on why free agents would avoid that town?
  • It's cold (can't control that)
  • Not a pretty city (that could change over time, but don't hold your breath)
  • THE FANS - with friends like this, who needs enemies?
The fans bring this on themselves

Cliff Harris once said he loved playing in Washington more than the Super Bowl. 60,000+ fans pack RFK stadium emotionally selling it all on beating the Cowboys, then seeing them take the loss hard.

These days, I think Cliff would enjoy playing in Philadelphia more.

Sorry man, i was there. Its bad. I had a football thrown at my back. I wasnt even talking, just walking. I left the game at halftime because I thought I was going to get stabbed. One of the guys i went with, also a cowboys fan, had his wifes cowboys necklace ripped off of her neck and thrown at her. I witnessed a child get a beer dumped on him lol. Is that normal behaviour?

I've lived 30 mins away from the eagles stadium my entire life...

Yes, yes it is. Not saying it's right, but it's an unfortunate truth. You go to any nfl stadium with a big fan base and add in the fact that they are losing to their bitter rivals and it's going to get ugly. It's just an unfortunate part if the culture
