Eagles fans hate the Cowboys for the same reason that people hate Tom Brady, Derek Jeter and Tony Stewart.

Jealous. I feel sorry for them. Going through life like that.

Watch Silver Linings Playbook before the phony ending.

There's a bunch of crazy people up there

I recently watched it. Academy Award nominee for best picture about a psychotic loser from Philly with anger management issues who is a diehard Eagles fan along with his loser family who keep making bad life decisions. I don't understand why it wasn't nominated in the Documentary category.

I've been to hundreds of sporting events and can confidently say that no, that isn't true of any stadium. Some razzing, some jabs, sure. But I've never seen an unprovoked act of aggression at an NFL game.

Philly fans are a special breed of scum.

Go to a Browns, Steelers, 49ers, Raiders or Patriots game vs a division rival late in the year and wear the opposing teams jersey. Let me know how it works out for you.

Flyers fan are ya?:lmao2:

well, if you have to root for a bunch of guys sliding around on skates, the Broad Street bullies aren't a bad choice...I am of the ilk that starts watching hockey when the playoffs get started...the flyers, of course, need to MAKE the playoffs first

Passionate is not strong enough a word for them - not even close.

Throwing snowballs at Santa, urinating on the head of opposing fans, even stealing artificial legs from Vietnam Vets.

I was halfway thinking the National Guard would have to be called into Philadelphia after the game Sunday. And I wonder if NJ Gov. Chris Christie will receive death threats for being aired doing a high five with Jerry Jones. Again, semi-serious - are they running more public service announcements for people that are suicidal?

What is it - WHAT? Honestly think it crosses the line from fandom to mental disorder.

I want to dedicate this video to all the Eagles fans - :star:Blue Christmas :star:

Have you ever been to Philly? Aside from a few small areas, its a cesspool. Add to that the fact they have zero Super Bowl wins - you get a major inferiority complex. Especially when you consider the success of the Cowboys, Commanders, and Giants grabbing Lombardis in every decade between the 70s and the 00's.

My Commanders might suck right now, but at least the city has become a nice place to live (for the most part) with many young, educated professionals in the area. You can't say the same for Philly.

^ No, I have not been to Philly, but at times in my career I have been with people that would probably fit in that town too well. Replaces duh with F or S bombs, loud, crude, etc.

I found a number of videos on Youtube I wanted to post here, but the language gets in the way (suprized?) I will mention this one on Youtube is a hoot: This Philly Eagles Fan Is About To Have Heart Attack! I wish a postable one would go viral and replace the meme "Hitler is informed..."

Do they have any sense of shame? Starting to think they don't...might even play with poop in public.

Because people who aren't any where near the city keep perpetuating the stereotype....it's not really that bad trust me.

Multiple fans have gotten killed in the Bay Area in recent years....But Philly threw snow balls at Santa Clause 20 years ago!!!!

It was 46 years ago

The nice thing about driving is you can do things you could not do elsewhere.

Again, I'd probably be arrested otherwise. :D ........I tried to impersonate an Eagles fan after they lost and Dallas won. Screamed for 30 seconds.

Somebody needs to have a contest to impersonate Eagles fans - out in the country to avoid disturbing the peace. The best rants go to Youtube. Make fun of they hate even their good players like McNabb almost as much as the opponents, then wonder why they can't get free agents. List a few more facts like that while acting more hysterical than Chris Crocker.

I've lived 30 mins away from the eagles stadium my entire life...

Yes, yes it is. Not saying it's right, but it's an unfortunate truth. You go to any nfl stadium with a big fan base and add in the fact that they are losing to their bitter rivals and it's going to get ugly. It's just an unfortunate part if the culture

Agree. Philly born and raised , but lifelong Boys fan. To me it's also that Philly considers itself a big city, but has to compete with NY and Washington for Media attention. Throw in the Cowboys long history of success and all the fans want to be is #1 at least one time.

All the other Philly teams ( Flyers, Phillies, Sixers ) can claim a Super Bowl like Championship except the Eagles. You have to go back to 1960 Green Bay vs Philly to even come close to claiming a football title. Been around long enough that I remember listening to that game on the radio :):)
