Why are players on other teams so good compared to ours?

All of these crazy trade ideas just has me shaking my head. Why is it that every player that is disgruntled does everyone think is a perfect fit for us?

Keeping in mind that the salary cap absolutely puts limits on what you can do, what are we missing right now on defense? Would I like to have a Warren Sapp in the middle of our D line? Sure, but that is gonna cost you big time. Would I like to have an alpha male 1 receiver like Tyreke Hill? Sure.

How good are the dolphins? Do you honestly think you can judge our receiving corps right now? After 6 games played and 5 with cooper rush? Any WR that would be a 1 or 2 for us is gonna cost either serious draft picks or 15 million plus per year. From what I have seen from Noah Brown, I am absolutely ecstatic for him to be our number 3. That guy catches EVERYTHING thrown his way. Im good with him AND HIS SALARY. Oline? You know we just signed Peters, right? THey arent adding an olineman... period.

Defense???? Are you serious? Our line is young and tenacious. Im good there. Linebackers? Arent we getting a rookie that they have serious high hopes back right now? He was there last week, but just getting his feet wet. Any linebacker that could make an impact aint on no trading block.

We are good IMo... we just need our 160 million dolar QB to come back and be an actual playmaker and not a bus driver. If the Eagles are the "Best," team in the NFC, Id say we are going to the SB.

Between this site and the old one, Ive been on these boards for probably 15 years. I have never said we were going to the SB, but Id say this team is as good as any in the NFC. Stay put.

Like to add that people tend to forget the chemistry aspect to it. You can trade for a particular player and there is no guarantee he is going to mesh well with your current roster. It's a risk and a potential loss of valuable draft resources. It's an in season trade so it will take time go adjust to the scheme on defense or learn the playbook on offense. I would think Oline is particularly risky since it takes time to gel and get in sync. We only look at the ones that work out but never the ones that blow up in our face(Roy Willliams).

Grass is always greener on the other side?
.
One things for sure, there is no GM who would want Dak Prescott for $40,000,000.00 per year.
.
I don't even think NYG would trade for Dak for Daniel straight up, or even if the cowboys sweetened the offer.

Sometimes the best move is no move.
This is the first lesson in GM 101. Too bad many on here fail that right away.

I’d be all for picking up someone if it didn’t cost high draft capital.

But I don’t think we are as good as any team in NFC. We shall see. I have more hope with this defense. But 49ers and Phil have better defenses. And maybe better offenses.

And there’s still Brady, Rodgers and the Rams looming. I’d place us somewhere after that. About where we are at 6th seed.

Probably not anyone we could pick up available that would elevate us to top of NFC,

Do a better job and start banning them then. I know they're trolling because they will try to paint a narrative for a poster before they even reply.

If someone responds to them praising Cooper Rush they will blatantly lie and act like you think Dak is Josh Allen or Mahomes. They're literally derailing every thread I see them in. They're legitimately trolling and I wouldn't be surprised if it's one person on multiple accounts. On Old message boards mods had a golden rule about trolls...they would let them make it..as long as they were funny!

I wouldn't worry about the ignorant and the trolls. You are exactly right this team is as good as any in the NFC. It's a great time to be a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Interesting that the 49ers lost to the Bears. The Packers aren't good and we beat the Rams on their field with the Cowboys playing their back up qb. The Bucs aren't very good either.

True, but he isn't great either.
We really need to shore up the run defense.
He's one of the weak links.

Did I hear incorrectly or did we allow 3.5 ypc against the Eagles amazing offense? Our defense has show it is seriously legit. Teams are not going to just lineup and run it . Our defense has a great mix of youth, vets and flat out playmakers. We need NO LINEBACKER that will make sense when you factor in our young guys and the salary cap.

dallas isnt trading for anyone.especially this late.

fans bring this up here because they like to fantasize and also they see other teams trade for players even during season , and it sometimes
works out good, but dallas isnt going to do that.
