Why are the Eagles Rooting for Dallas to Win against the G-Men!

Feeley really let Shockey and the G-men down -- they could have been 8-4 ...

Yo, PT -

You might as well get used to it, life has changed in the NFC East.

If this Cowboy team were at full strength, there would be no doubt about it's ability to beat the Giants this year. This team; however, has about as many injuries as last years team but will not give up like last year. If it can still beat NY, it will show the depth that has accumulated and if you think this team is good this year, wait until next year.

I hear your logic. Those injuries can sure weigh heavy on a team's production.

If that's the case, you should be rooting for the Giants too. We'll deal with the Giants when it's our turn. Right now, you'd better be worried about the G-men.

BTW, I nevr said I wanted Dallas to win!

I don't understand your rationale, McNabb is done for the year, and your current starting qb couldn't beat out Joey Harrington. Also, Andy Reid is a meat-head who doesn't understand that you must run the football sometimes, draft well on your defensive line and not sit out your best offensive weapon in the middle of the season just cause he's hard to get along with. How stupid can he get?

This thread...or should I say the first post of this thread...boils down to the users original sigline.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

And I am sure we all have done that...I hate the eagles and skins, but since we swept the eagles and odds are we beat the skins the second time...then I would actually root for the eagles/skins to beat the giants.

Normally I want the giants to beat the other two teams...but this time it is all about what is best for the cowboys.

So I can understand an eagles fan thinking that way...he is only thinking of what is best for his team, as we do for ours.....and at times that means we would rather see one team win over the other...even if that other team is higher on our despised list. :D

Hmmm....let's see the chicken could have been on a lot of plates last night, while the Eagle is the National symbol.

Sure, ...alike in a lotta ways!

Your goose could be cooked!

So, if Benjamin Franklin had had his way, you'd be the Philadelphia Turkeys?

No offense but your fooling yourself if you think for a second Cowboy fans wanted the Eagles to win against Green Bay. Where did you get that idea? I want Philly to lose no matter who they are playing. ALWAYS. That is how much I cant stand that team.

Its sad that the Eagle is some sort of symbol for that team considering the fan base behind it. I mean really. The City of Brotherly Love? Man Ive been in Philly. Those people are me first and nothing else close. What a horrible showing of brotherly love. All I ever hear across the internet forums when fans of other teams visit is how terrible they were treated and the stumbling drunks around the stadium. Yah - thats something to be real proud of.

I want the Giants to whip that Eagle off your teams helmet to be honest. =)

I see you have a very photo in your posts. How appropo? A bunch of dead skeleton heads with Eagles players and Eagles logo.

Salute! LOL

You'd Better place all that unleashed energy into hoping your team wins in New York next week before you start worrying about what the G-Men are going to do when they arrive in Philly.

Bald Eagles do not migrate south. In the Winter, Bald Eagles fly to Eastern Missouri.

Thats because they are almost all dead ..... just like the Eagles chances :D

Not quite ...if Benjamin Franklin had his way, Thanksgiving would have been called Eagles Day!:D

Pull out your purse/or wallet and take a hard look at the dead Eagle on it ...that's money ...just like the Eagles chances of making a Wild Card birth!

There isnt a chance Philthy wins the division

Look forward to next year, we all know they will not make the playoffs, especially with how much stronger the NFC has gotten
