Why are we not seeing the problem

Our WR room is mediocre at best. When compared to the NFC playoff contenders we are close to the bottom.

Been saying this for weeks. If the run game stalls, our biggest weaknesses on the roster are pass pro and WRs.

CeeDee- 6 Tds (5 games)
Giants 1, Washington 1, Chicago 1, Packers 2, Indy 1

Gallop 3 Tds (in 2 games)
Washington 1, Indy 2

Schultz 3 tds (in 2 games)

We have the best non scoring wrs is more like it. Lol

If our wrs are so good how come they aren't catching many TD passes and we have to run to score 3 times more often

If we're the #1 scoring team since Dak has been back it has nothing to do with TD passes from Dak at all lol

Completions and yards matter but most peeps are overlooking the most important stat of all which is crossing the goal line with the ball in your hands against good competition.

That's why we're gonna be allergic to prosperity in the playoffs.

Our wrs and tes can't hit their head on the goalposts in the regular season so why you believe they can in the post season is ludicrous.

Ya stop the run scoring and this team can't carry the scoring averages

Have you watched the games? Our run game has been the key, when we run we win, when we pass we lose. Has nothing to do with Dak. What's his average yards per game since coming back probably like low 200s not like he is coming in here and throwing for 300 + 3-4 TDs and 0+1 INTs every week. His TDs to INTs is 14-9 this year, that is horrendous and he is ranked 19th in QBR the most well rounded assessment for QB play, he is AVERAGE at BEST.

Troy Aikman needed Emmitt to carry the ball 20 times...was he average?

We all knew when we lost coop that we didn't have a number one. Its hard to throw to a 2 and a 3 especially when the three is just now getting in shape and healthy. It was incredibly irresponsible for the Jones’ to give Dak the receivers that they have. They think just bring in a rook it will be taken care of. At least now with hilton he can max out at a 2 and be a deep threat. Great route runner but imo we still dont have enough. These knuckleheads always let a position group go every year! Im not sticking up for Dak either he has been off alot this year they need to go up tempo all game Dak loses his urgency. Seems like we have a bunch of 2’s and 3’s on this team!

We've had a lot of crap games offensively with Cooper. I don't know why it would be any different this year.

Once every game or 2, even a great QB will have a pick throwing those routes. BUT you have to make the throw, that throw 15-25 yds. is what separates the "good college QBs" from NFL QBs.
Ultimately that is what Dak lacks and why he'll be out of the league in a year.

Aikman was leathly accurate when he needed to be, Dak is not. I do however think Aikman was overrated given the talent that was around him.

We dont see the problem because there isnt ONE specific issue. Those looking for one HR issue conveniently brush over/ignore many of the other cracks.

What is the point in having route runners if the scheme's don't suit Dak's skills or if the Defenses are changing their pre/post snap coverage to confuse Dak.

For me we have to earn the right to throw, we need to commit the Safeties down field.....I dont think any DC would be fooled into us extending the field, indeed i'm sure they'd goad Dak into throwing long and challenging his arm.

Yup, you nailed it here man. Exactly. Even Warner's first 15 mins or so of his breakdown showed plenty of separation space on most all of the play action throws that should have been made.

Your quote on separating the better QBs who make these throws to those who dont is spot on.

Not sure if they'll run SleepNumber outta the league just "yet" but your observation of his skillset or lack thereof, is very accurate.

1. Lamb was the teams top WR last year and led Cooper in catches and yards
