Sure, I’m with you on us needing more at the WR position. But I’m not currently concerned about our redzone production at all. We’re one of the best in football.

Can we give Lamb a chance before we say he cant help in the playoffs?
I'm not criticizing you at all btw cnuball. I'm just pointing out the obvious black and white stats.

I know you have a Realistic football acumen compared to most and can see that or wr group is missing that big play scoring dynamic

Pollard is the most consistent big play dynamic we have at wr and RB

Friendly advice to Deek:

As much as I criticize your cheap 6-yard throws to TEs and the tight sideline passes to WRs, tjha might be your font of talent, Deek.

Do not go long ball into double coverage.
Keep it simple this game.
Rely on Schultze, Pollard and trust in the D.

Do. Not. Go. Deep. To. The. Middle.

Or you are dogmeat, good lad.

If healthy, and they played 17 games our receivers would have the following stat line (based on averages this season:
  • Ceedee: 1,256 yards, 98 catches, 8 TD’s
  • Gallup: 572 yards, 51 catches, 5 TD’s
  • Brown: 686 yards, 48 catches, 2 TD’s
Based on those stats Ceedee is clearly a solid no.1 receiver but we are only getting “just okay” production from our 2nd and 3rd receivers. That’s with the caveat that Gallup has been ramping up post ACL return and we’ve just added TY Hilton who the last time he had a decent QB throwing to him (Andrew Luck) was a Pro-bowler. Granted, that was his prime years (he’s older now) but he still should be able to offer WR #2 type stats IMO.

Bottom line, I think the addition of TY Hilton elevates our receiver group significantly and it’s now on Dak and Kellen to make it work.

We all knew when we lost coop that we didn't have a number one. Its hard to throw to a 2 and a 3 especially when the three is just now getting in shape and healthy. It was incredibly irresponsible for the Jones’ to give Dak the receivers that they have. They think just bring in a rook it will be taken care of. At least now with hilton he can max out at a 2 and be a deep threat. Great route runner but imo we still dont have enough. These knuckleheads always let a position group go every year! Im not sticking up for Dak either he has been off alot this year they need to go up tempo all game Dak loses his urgency. Seems like we have a bunch of 2’s and 3’s on this team!

Two's and three's win championships, just ask the Patriots.

This doesnt explain why hes having a better year this year with Brissett in 11 games than he had with dak.

His last 100 yd game in Dallas was when Cooper Rush played

What are the other receivers doing compared to what the Cowboys receivers did, when Cooper was here? Maybe, Dallas spread the ball more, due to gameplan. Blanket statements don't explain the nuances of the game.

If you watch the all 22 of the final drive you'll see open receivers deep. Dak doesn't trust his arm enough to throw to them. You MUST make those throws.
Once every game or 2, even a great QB will have a pick throwing those routes. BUT you have to make the throw, that throw 15-25 yds. is what separates the "good college QBs" from NFL QBs.
Ultimately that is what Dak lacks and why he'll be out of the league in a year.

Did not they score and win the game on the last drive? If you watch any other games, you will also see receivers open for other teams.

With the team being 10-3, and having a top offense and defense; the same fans continue to complain. Once their whinefest is quelled, they begin to predict the future. Wait until they play (fill in the blank). Or, wait until the playoffs. If and when the time comes, I am sure the forum will be flooded with enough vitriol to poison the state of Texas.

TY is coming off the couch and his worst career year as a pro.

I’m cautiously optimistic, but don’t think he’s going to move the needle outside of veteran advice and leadership.

I’m having a little trouble understanding you and following.

But you keep going back to WR TDs…again, I don’t really care seeing as we have the top scoring offense in football since Dak came back. Our red zone efficiency is also in the 80s which is absurd.

I’m more concerned about us being able to move the chains and get to the red zone through the air when we have to. I think we agree our WRs aren’t good enough.

Philly-Turf home
Titans- Grass away
R'Skins-Grass away

3 of the 4 games we lost we're on the "Grassy Knoll" against Philly, GB, and now Jax

And the Grassy Knoll is our Kryptonite!!!!

The "CURSE" Continues

History Matters
Scoring Stats Matter
Grass W/L Stats Matter

The "go up and get the ball" type receivers are what I meant when I mentioned Dez. There just aren't that many out there.

As for our #2 WR dropping one in the end zone, did you see the friggin' hit he took? He went up for the ball, and the instant it was in his hands he was absolutely drilled from behind, and he held onto it until his body then slammed on the ground. (Which speaks to my assertion that there's so much traffic in the end zone that it makes it much more difficult to catch a pass.) Even then, had he been 2" closer to the ground when he got drilled, his second foot would've been down for the TD.

I doubt there's any receiver in the league who could've held onto that ball. Most probably would've dropped it as soon as the defender slammed into them. No way in Hell Cooper would've held onto it.
Did ya see the easy drop by brown for a pick six in ot

There was no big hit this time.

We just a turf team. Hopefully we'll get the Vikes.

So the defense was clearly the reason we lost…

But…game on the line in OT and we have to count on Noah Brown. Ball in the chest dropped for an INT / pick 6.,

No, he definitely should've had that. That said, the throw definitely could've been better too, but still a very catchable ball. Guess he figured he'd caught enough for one day.

Y'all know Philly is gonna be resting their starters and our tes will have 4-5 tds ha ha ha

The Vikes play the Giants at home at noon. If they lose Philly can play their backups at 3pm

The Vikes have Gb and Da Bears on Grass and they're just a turf team and will lose at least 1 game anyways

Make sure ya take Schultzkowski in your fantasy league next week!!!!!

Noah Brown has proven to be a reliable receiver. Today he did well until that play. There's no excuse for his tip drill pick six. Dallas should have never been in that position.

I think Lamb is actually proving himself to be that NO 1 guy. He's been great this year, he's stepped up. I was not his biggest fan coming in to this year - all the talking and then the drops drove me nuts. We didn't lose this game because of not scoring enough or the WRs.
