Christ, get a life...loyalty belongs with a team and if you don't obey the rules for employment one is not an inch away from just a fool!

If I wanted always to hear nagging insults as to never ending pessimism...I'll find my wife and get into a conversation.

Go slobber on someone else... As I see, you are no fan or critic.

Here's the song that you sing: 'Oh lord it's hard to be humble, when you're perfect in every way'...now sing on along, somewhere else.
That's it, we just can't let you play in the cat box anymore...the cat keeps burying you in the sand.

It just takes 27 years (and counting) to see those sprouts break through the soil.
My wife and I were at the Alamodome when Bill Parcells walked by us for his first training camp practice. Then we were at AT&T stadium for the very first football game played there in Exhibition against Tennessee. They all were practicing hitting the board, in pre-game.

To a fan, there has always been plenty to take pride in along the way...

Because that's my team. Always has been. Through thick and thin. Through all the drama. From the heartbreaking losses to watching them win 5 super bowls. That's my team and always will be.

:starspin:
I could not change allegiance if I wanted to.

My opinion concerns an individual's fanship of any sport and not just football.

In my opinion, a person may not actually be a fan of a team (or an athlete) if they must question their fanship. Their following should be something they know. Their fanship may not exist if they must question whether it is within them.
Oooooh, I like that.

I do know that every time I see a poster state that they're going to switch teams if such and such doesn't happen, I suddenly think a lot less of that poster.

Would you frickin' quit complaining and basing every post on attacking other members?
He's every inch as much a true fan as are you. He's tired of listening to a non-stop run of nanny poo poos who are not really toughies but insulting with their own miseries. One can also support a good heart tired of all the disrespectful insults as well. Usually after that is introduced first in some manner, by another.

Some points are made, but many more are ignored, just the same.

Statistics are tools for redirecting and changing current tendencies.

Dak as a quarterback may have a statistic that at present is a negative 30 year old indicator for a Super Bowl...but the fact is, it does not prevent success from happening.

That may all be true, but you're referring to a poster who does nothing but attack and debase others. It's disgusting. He's not doing this because he's tired of anything, he's doing it because he gets off to it. It's that clear at this point. He is always the first to insult.

You might want to pay attention to his posting before judging. He makes no points, uses no tools, doesn't pay much attention to anything. He simply insults and attacks. There is nothing else to his posting history.

On Philadelphia:

“I don't feel like it's a huge gap at all,” Lawrence told the Associated Press. “I feel like it comes down to certain details. Not just the scheme but also your locker room.”

Yes, they will win another 12 games and make the playoffs.

It will be led by this defense, and the offense will probably average around 25-26 points, just a hair under the 30 they did last season.

This has caught this fan's eye, probably the most:

While his victory in Super Bowl XLV was over a decade ago, McCarthy should still be considered a good coach in the NFL. The Cowboys made the playoffs in back-to-back seasons for the first time since the 2006 and 2007 seasons. Considering Jason Garrett nor Wade Phillips did that, McCarthy deserves credit for turning things around after the 2020 season. The expectations are high every year in Dallas and that is hard for a coach to handle, especially when Jerry Jones is the boss. McCarthy might not be the most vocal coach in the league, but his ability to deal with adversity shined through this past season.

With no Dak Prescott for several weeks after an embarrassing opening night loss to the Buccaneers, McCarthy rallied the troops around backup Cooper Rush and a dominant defense. That kept the Cowboys fighting for first place in the NFC East until Prescott returned. Not many coaches know how to keep the ship on course when the starting quarterback goes down. McCarthy did not receive a lot of credit for his coaching last year and deserved more.

Coming off a season where the team won a playoff game for the first time since 2018, obviously anything less would be a major disappointment. McCarthy has the keys to the car for this offense and he will try his hand at continuing to develop Prescott. While there is uncertainty, McCarthy should still be considered high for this ranking.

Yep, same for me. It’s in my blood. No matter how frustrating Jerry can be, or drama, or even hearing the name Hot Boyz. Dallas will always be my team. It’s in my DNA, I can’t fight it and I’m here for the ride, regardless how high or how low. I will admit I’m in the mood for some high times again.

Go Cowboys!!!! Cowboy nation for life!

Why would you so loyally support such uncivilized, unbecoming behavior?
Against the rules...and ignoring Bob's plea for some considerate polite behavior.
The same guy who said "you're entitled to your opinion"....attacks and insults people for them.
It's quite a conundrum, coming from a person such as yourself who wants to appear quite learned and well (oft) spoken.

He has never over the years, insulted myself. Then he is a very loyal Cowboys fan. As to rudeness, on a contributor I know the quality of forgiveness and beginning of a great season.

As intelligence goes, that is not an act but knowing enough to talk truth.

Ah....thank you for clarifying the situation. You've revealed far more than you realize.
I'd say there's more intelligence in knowing when not to speak, then whatever version of truth you see fit to to speak.

Patrik Walker: It starts with protecting the ball on offense and extends to taking it away on defense. The latter was top-3 in the league in several categories and has upgraded for 2023, so it's expected hey'll continue their dominance and potentially become the best in the entire NFL — capable of carrying Dallas to and through the Super Bowl. That's contingent upon the offense getting back to its own dominant ways, using Brandin Cooks to take that step and a RB group that's a mixed bag of versatility. Crown a worthy kicker as a cherry on top and go get No. 6.

Nick Eatman: Stay healthy. Win the games you're supposed to win (which will be nearly all of them), keep staying healthy, find a player that takes a big leap into superstar status and also, get some luck. And that might be the toughest thing for them to do. Let's be honest, you've got to be lucky to make it. So if they can get to the playoffs, make sure there's no doubt the receiver catches the ball, and make sure they don't drop the key snap on a field goal and make sure they don't let an average tight end make the play of his life down the sideline and make sure they have a little more depth if they suffer an injury in the playoffs. This is a really good football team. But in January, they have to be good enough to overcome the quirky things that have plagued them for the last 25 years.

Mickey Spagnola: First of all, don't lose to the 49ers in the playoffs. Secondly, win the NFC East with a record to receive a first-round playoff bye and earn homefield advantage throughout the playoffs, unlike last year, finishing second in the East and as a wildcard playoff team having to play those first two playoff games on the road. And then, from a playing standpoint, the offense during the regular season must be as good if not better than last year's when averaging 35.1 points a game in the first 10 Dak played after returning from injury or the 31.0 the Cowboys averaged in the 13 games, including the two playoff games, they averaged after his return. After that, the defense must play better against the run and the Cowboys must develop a capable place kicker.

Why I am a Dallas Cowboys fan.

Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother all born in Dallas County. Me - born in Arlington. Family goes back to at least 1859 in DFW (the date of death on the tombstone of an ancestor in Stony Graveyard in Denton County). It's my hometown team. No other justification needed. If the Cowboys had never won a Super Bowl, and were like the Chicago Cubs for a century, I'd still support the team. The Cowboys are like family - you suffer with them when times are bad, and rejoice with them when times are good.

Nuff said!
That's old school when players were loyal and there were true rivalries. These players jump from team to team chasing money and winning a SB isn't the goal. It's to get paid.

Hopes are a little higher than normal..nfc is worse than it was the last 2 years and the defense should be really good again.

They’ll either win it all one of these days or I will die watching them try. We’ve had some rough years around here, but there’s never been a bad day to rock with the most iconic franchise in American sports.

You only get so many trips around the sun to watch the Dallas Cowboys and the season is nearly upon us gentlemen. It doesn’t get much better than that.
