Why can't we beat Seattle?

This week's first half will be very important for the Cowboys. Not much coming back if that is filled with errors, penalties, and mistakes.

Truth is, it is a winnable game. We are playing identical style football as the Seahawks. Now, they've more talent on the D side of the ball but, we've more talent offensively I believe. We just beat the #1 defense (Texans). It's doable. The true test in Seattle is beating the crowd. It's insanely loud. No kill kill kill next week Romo. Better brush up on your sign language.

It depends on what metrics you use to qualify Houston as the #1 defense...on third down yes. Overall, FootballOutsiders have them at #12...Seattle #8...as of week 4. That said, the #1 (Cincinnati) got pasted pretty good by Brady and the Pats Sunday night. Hideous performance and they likely won't be number one when the week 5 numbers come out. Dallas must stop Lynch or it will all go wrong pretty quickly. For that, they will need stellar play at the linebacker positions. Without McClain, this will be difficult. The offense can certainly help by playing as mistake-free as possible, but they need long drives to end in touchdowns, not punts, turnovers and field goals.

McClain will play. I agree though, Lynch should be the focus and we need to play in the style of week 4 to get the win.

I would feel somewhat optimistic if we were at home. I still don't trust the testicular fortitude of this team in that stadium.

I think offense with the ability to run and pass plays well for Dallas in having a chance. I don't think you can go in an beat them doing one thing you better be able to attack in the air and on the ground. Balance in my view is critical when facing a very good defense.

It's still very early in the week but this eerily starting to feel like the games against the 9-0 Colts in 2006 and the 13-0 Saints in 2009; More-so the latter with Dallas being cast off as not having a snowball's chance in hell.

I believe this upcoming game in Seattle comes down to how well Murray and the O-line do on the ground and how well can the Cowboys' defense slow down Lynch. I may be sniffing the Kool-Aid just a bit but I like The Cowboys' chances.

Lets see how the Commanders do tonight:muttley:

We need to beat Seattle bottom line. I think it's time for us to go somewhere, and not just hope for the playoffs. I really believe we can win this game, if we can get past the crowd noise which should be rabid. Run the ball, be opportunistic on offense, and if Dez is ever in one on one coverage, you need to go after that corner, no matter who it is. I'm not settling for a loss here. Play like a champion, beat anyone in your way.

Well, there you are.

You think like a champion, you win. They tried to bully us, we were the bullies.

This crow tastes so good. I said we would get dog walked, and our *** handed to us. We are for real, I'm proud.

Being wrong, never felt so right/good

Agree, blackening my crow although I had a better feeling last night in a new thread. Thought we could dominate the line with our OL.
