Why can't we beat Seattle?

Because everybody says we will lose against Seattle watch dallas go in and destroy Seattle. People said the same thing about the Saints.

That being said being in Seattle will make it more tough then if the game was in Dallas

The odds of a Cowboys win next week lies with the run games, as has been the ingredient all season long.

Our inability to hold and execute enough to wind the clock when we had the lead with 2:00 minutes left. This oline and experienced offensive squad should be able to do that any and every game. That is a big reason we aren't more successful (especially down the stretch)- for whatever reason that is. Shouldn't have needed to go to OT- great win, nonetheless!

The Cowboys play in an "on the road atmosphere" every week now hypothetically. They actually shouldn't be too shook going into Seattle.

We need to beat Seattle bottom line. I think it's time for us to go somewhere, and not just hope for the playoffs. I really believe we can win this game, if we can get past the crowd noise which should be rabid. Run the ball, be opportunistic on offense, and if Dez is ever in one on one coverage, you need to go after that corner, no matter who it is. I'm not settling for a loss here. Play like a champion, beat anyone in your way.

I actually think our OL matches up better against Seattle's front seven than they did against the Texan's front seven. Seattle does not have someone as dynamic as JJ Watt. Yes their secondary is pretty good but if thy can't get pressure i do not think that they will be as good. The key is to control the running game and keep Wilson to his dink and dunk style and do not let him air it out to Harvin and company.

Why can't we? They're probably the best team in the league. At home in a hostile environment. And they're a bad match-up.

Harvin is a matchup nightmare for us, we can't stop the run well and lynch is incredible. And their defense can actually afford not to stack the box against Murray because their db's match up favorably against our guys.

We can win, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Im starting to believe. I may get killed here at the zone by some for being optimistic, but why the hell not.

I've said before that the Dallas O matches up with their D.....but TO have to be eliminated, and red zone opportunities need to be scores. Pound them with the running game, play action passes and go over the top with Dez and TWill. Times like these, I sure wish Dallas new how to run a good RB screen.

As for the Dallas D, I fear they will be taken advantage of sort of like the 4th quarter today........... that does not look good right now. Need some healthy bodies out there. No shame in being too optimistic, your a fan, thats your job.

But ya neva know, every game is a challenge;maybe the hawks get overconfident and don't play their best. Dallas will need to get on top early, and keep it close, cuz I don't see them coming back if they go 10+ down. :starspin:

We gifted them 3 turnovers and a drop by Williams for a TD. Houston shouldn't have even been in the game today, our mistakes kept them in it.

Ifs and's and buts. The mistakes happened and we got away with one. We were clearly the better team but they almost beat themselves. Ugly win but it is better than listening to Texan fans for awhile :)

My biggest concern is Foster really gashed Dallas today and you have to believe that will be Seattle game plan as well. Also, I think we need to get Dez going early in that game for psychological reasons for him and entire team.

If we can't get Hayden to bench , we can't stop good running teams . He was being steamrolled all day , to my untrained eye

Can you imagine the hype over the Cowboys if we walk into Seattle next week and win that game? I just hope we don't get completely blown out and embarrassed, which I don't see happening. Obviously you wanna win every game but now we have some breathing room at 4-1. And the Eagles and Giants play next week, meaning one of them has to lose. So no matter what happens next week, I still think we'll be in decent shape. But those next two division games will be HUGE.

Yeah that's a little different than we had no business winning the game. Reality is we had no business barely winning it.

Wow, didn't know the Cowboys were facing God next week in Seattle. Because we know human beings are Gods. And Seattle has a roster full of Gods.

Nope, just a championship team. Something we haven't been for a very long time.

We can beat Seattle. It'll be a big uphill climb and the biggest win in the franchise in a long time. But it's a small possibility that we win. I'll just be glad if we give em 4 quarters.

we are far too soft up the middle with mcclain on the sidelines....if mcclain plays, our chances of competing are significantly greater....this team has no chance to even give SEA a run if mcclain doesnt play...sea is a smashmouth team and our biggest weakness wo mcclain is handling physical teams up front

I said that cause Seattle plays tough at home but yes you are correct

I would feel much better with carter and mcclaine . They may both be out just get them ready for the Giants game
