Why can't we beat Seattle?

Why not indeed? It's a bit much to expect them to win but I suspect we are in for an entertaining game next Sunday.

And yeah I feel better about our chances then at any time this season.

Just bring it, Seattle. We will see where we match up.

They will have to play like they did versus New Orleans. Anything like they rolled out today and it's curtains early. They will be facing a much better secondary than the one the Texans brought to Arlington. I am looking to see if they can continue to roll up 100 yards plus on the ground, and it really is the best chance you will have of beating Seattle at home. I just don't think that Dallas has a salty-enough defense to hang up there. A close loss would not mean a whole lot considering what is left to be done this year. Of more pressing concern is the resurgence of the Giants, who will be the first real division test in a few weeks.

Not impossible. We have a great running game and Romo is rounding out into top form. If we can include some misdirection plays, we would be able to use Seattle's speed against them (When Bledsoe was here we use to run a trick TE play like 3 or 4 times a year- the TE would fake block and Bledsoe would roll right. The Te would then get up and be wide open on the left- work 90% of the time everytime).

We need to catch the ball- we had like 6 drops today.

That being said, I think Seattle wins - something like 24-16. Too difficult for any team to win there.

If you want to beat Seattle on the road, you can't have all these special teams penalties, Harris fumbling, multiple drops, Murray fumbling and being unable to put away a game. If we played how we did today next week, we lose by 21. Seattle does not need any help.

Rush for 150 yds+...win the turnover differential...be aggressive with play-action shots...possess the ball and hope for the best.

Yeah. Luckily we get the Giants on the second leg of a two game road trip.

Pretty much if we can force a couple turnovers while hanging onto the ball we will be in a good spot to win.

San Diego I think was +1 in the win earlier this year. They only had about 100 yards on the ground though. This will easily be the toughest rushing attack that Seattle has yet faced. I would say this is a game to feature Witten, as Gates led all receivers for the Chargers. The part that should give Cowboys fans good hope is the time of possession disparity against San Diego...namely 42:15 to 17:45, which is ghastly for any defense, including Seattle's. It likely had much to do with them getting the win up there. It was billed as a near-perfect game by the Chargers, which is a little more sobering.

We will not beat the Hawks. It will be a nice game, if we escape injury free.

Im starting to believe. I may get killed here at the zone by some for being optimistic, but why the hell not.

San Diego's defense really put it on Seattle with some impressive physical play, the Cowboy's defense isn't capable of that IMO. That will be the big difference in the time of possession and the game.

Line is Seahawks -8

The groin issue may sideline McClain - probably will - but we will have Carter back. I think we are in trouble without McClain, Hitchens has had trouble shedding blocks and is questionable in coverage and diagnosing plays over a full game, in Seattle no less. I will hope for the best but won't be surprised if we lose this one.

I don't have a good feeling on this one.

Not having McClain is kind of a death sentence against that team.

I have a feeling Dallas gets smoked this game. But I said that about the Saints so who knows.

I sometimes wonder if the forum ever watches other games? People talk about our up and down performances, etc.... its true, but it is not unusual in the NFL. Eagles have to fight for their lives against the Rams and almost blow a big lead (btw, Jeff Fisher and the Rams took a delay of game penalty on the final drive in that one too), Buffalo beat the Lions, the Giants beat Atlanta, and a ton of games came down to the wire with the lead flip flopping at the very end (can you say the Browns won?). It is just life in the NFL today. Dallas has a real chance next week, but a better chance if McClain plays.
