Why do you think I mentioned using the FB?THEY'RE SCARED TO LOSE DAK TO INJURY

how many and one or less downs have we had this year?
Perhaps, but using the FB could work.It is something you study closely and figure out and practice all off season so youre ready
Like “red zone scoring”
You dont wake up after game 3 of the regular season to “work at it harder”
McCarthy is a buffoon
Dak's legs should definately be used more. He hasnt been the same since injury and its a bit concerning
Why reinvent the wheel when the formula is right there? The Eagles version works because you keep the ball as close as possible to the LOS with the QB, a handoff negates that.
I mean, giving anything away doesn't even matter. It's obvious when the Eagles are going to do it. It is just very difficult to stop, so it doesn't matter. So, I'd love for Mike to figure out a way to tailor it for our offense.I agree. When the line's health, we should do this. Use Hunter as QB. It's not giving anything away. It's pretty clear when it's being used.
Yes but i dont have a lot of confidence in either Mccarthy or DakPerhaps, but using the FB could work.
Thats as good a reason to do it as any. Stops Philly from being able to do it and makes them have to get those tough yards in a normal fashion. If Dallas does it, there will be a rule against it in the offseason

JJ is too tight with the dollar to bring in an expert Rugby coach, which is what the Eagles did.You know what? Why can't we use the Tush Push too? I'm not saying use Dak, though he is a rather big QB. But can surely develop our own version of the Tush Push. We struggle in the Red zone, but I think creating our own version of it would be good. Here's what I have in mind.
Instead of using Dak (though, we could if we wanted to), I think we would use a bit of a t formation, sort of like what McCarthy would occasionally use in Green Bay. However, the backs would be Luepke and 2 linemen (who would report as eligible), a lineman and a TE, or 2 TEs accompanying Luepke. Luepke would be a bit in front of the other backs. That way, when they hand it to him on a FB dive, the other two backs/linemen can push Luepke into the end zone. Behind Tyler Smith, Biadisz, and Zach Martin, that should be enough push up front to allow Luepke, pushed by the others, to get into the end zone. It'd be a combination of a FB dive and a tush push. I'd love to see us try it.
Yes, but then the Cowboys can take it to the league office to show that we did exactly what the eagles do.If Dallas did it they would probably get called for some obscure penalty that hasn't been called on anyone in years

If knees getting blown out were an issue wouldn’t football be outlawed?I want to see it outlawed. At some point someone's knees are going to get blown completely out and end someone's career. Dangerous? Very.
There are already rules to protect defenders on the line to prevent legs from being blown out. There are protections just as when arm bars and horse collars came into the NFL. Like the prospect of losing a $180 M lineman? If knees getting blown out were an issue wouldn’t football be outlawed?
No, it wouldn’t be illegal If the Cowboys did it. The league isn’t going to rule against the play because they’d have to outlaw pushing the ball carrier. The league wants that to be within the rules. There is no reason every team cannot do exactly what the Eagles do.If we did it, it would be illegal.
