Why can't we do the Tush Push too?

You know what? Why can't we use the Tush Push too? I'm not saying use Dak, though he is a rather big QB. But can surely develop our own version of the Tush Push. We struggle in the Red zone, but I think creating our own version of it would be good. Here's what I have in mind.

Instead of using Dak (though, we could if we wanted to), I think we would use a bit of a t formation, sort of like what McCarthy would occasionally use in Green Bay. However, the backs would be Luepke and 2 linemen (who would report as eligible), a lineman and a TE, or 2 TEs accompanying Luepke. Luepke would be a bit in front of the other backs. That way, when they hand it to him on a FB dive, the other two backs/linemen can push Luepke into the end zone. Behind Tyler Smith, Biadisz, and Zach Martin, that should be enough push up front to allow Luepke, pushed by the others, to get into the end zone. It'd be a combination of a FB dive and a tush push. I'd love to see us try it.

It's a copycat league.
If something works for another team,
Incorporate it.

They will make it illegal as soon as Hurts gets seriously hurt.

When you have a finely tuned F1 for a QB you can't treat it like a dump truck. Dak is so good he should be bubble wrapped and brought out for the super bowl. Anything less than that is clearly beneath him.

I'm talking about using the FB for the Tush Push.

I want to see it outlawed. At some point someone's knees are going to get blown completely out and end someone's career. Dangerous? Very.

It is something you study closely and figure out and practice all off season so youre ready

Like “red zone scoring”

You dont wake up after game 3 of the regular season to “work at it harder”

McCarthy is a buffoon

THEY'RE SCARED TO LOSE DAK TO INJURY

Why reinvent the wheel when the formula is right there? The Eagles version works because you keep the ball as close as possible to the LOS with the QB, a handoff negates that.
