did Bradie James get all that money? He makes no plays it seems.

And why doesn't BP ask M. Spears to lose about 15 lbs so he can actually run all the way to the QB, instead of not even attempting to ever turn the corner on the RT. I mean it seemed he would have a step, then just stop and stand in front of the RT. In the base defense if Ware doesnt apply pressure, no one will.

And why is someone telling Julius Jones is not okay to bounce something to the outside. It looks like he's making a conscious effort to just run inside all the time. I miss the JJ who would start inside then bounce to the outside and use his speed.

wow, Mr. Negative, where do you get that Bradie doesn't make plays? last time i checked he is the leader on our Defense and is leading in tackles.

Spears wont EVER be a sack machine, show me a DE that played in the 3-4 defense that has ever been a sack machine!

No one is controlling julius with a remote control, plus, lets see...the run is to gap 4(rg/rt) would you rather have him hit gap 6 (rt and out side) where their are linebackers and corners or hit the designed gap where he can work his magic againts a linebacker or a safety if the linemen gets to the linebacker.

Interesting comments.

Going from memory, this is probably the worst I have seen Roy, Bradie and Marcus Spears play.

I saw Spears get pancaked serveral times and some of that resulted in big runs on his side.

Bradie and Roy both struggled and took a multitude of bad angles and missed tackles. Heck, Newman had to bail them out 2 or 3 times.

Bradie also dropped what I thought was a catchable interceptions. Tiki Barber fell and Eli threw the ball right into his hands as he was diving for it and he dropped it. I forget what game, but he also let another ball go right through his hands.

I don't remember Julius making a living bouncing plays to the outside. His biggest game his rookie season was in the MNF Seattle game. Most of his runs were up the gut. I think the only big run he bounced to the outside in that game was called back because of a holding penalty.

It was the first Giants game where Bradies dropped one right in his hands just before halftime.

it was definitely a horrible game for all of Spears, James, and Roy.
I don't remember Roy even playing.
I do remember a game-changing INT going through the hand of James.
and another one through Glenn's hands.

Spears, did he play?
Willie McGuinnest was a sack machine at the 3-4 DE position.

Go away Mr. Negative. Brady has been consistent and a LEADER on "D."

A good example of people NOT keeping their kids off the internet.

I've never understood the love for Bradie James. I don't think he is any better than alright. I don't care that he leads the team in tackles - from his position, that should be a given. How many of those tackles are after 5-8 yard gains?

He's good against the run and mediocre against the pass. But apparently he's a tremendous locker room guy.

ok, thanks to ghst187, we have ONE DE who was a sack machine in a 3-4 defense.

Dude what game were you watching I guess you missed Bradie missing a Sack on Eli which gave them the Touchd0wn, and I guess you missed his failed attempt to intercept a good catchable ball, and I guess you missed the running backs just passing by James in slow motion...Pay attention to the little things in the game and you will understand football

go grab Madden '07 for 360 and leave talent evalation of the real game to others please :)

i agree only with jj, he does need to break it outside a couple of times....and spears is for run defense not sacks...

McGuinnest was/is a OLB in the 3-4.

wow we should just cut every guy on the team if they have a bad game, off with their head!

The JJ comment is interesting. Did anyone catch the pregame piece where they talked about the recording Parcells installed inside JJ's helmet, just saying "Don't bounce it outside" on a loop. Very telling, IMO.

The post was pretty negative while everyone is still drunk with a big win high. Maybe should have held it until Tues or Wed.

But James didn't have a good game and either did Roy Williams. I have the same complaint about Julius Jones, he doesn't seem to have any vision to make a cut. Too bad, he's got the legs to do it. I think Parcells has coached it out of him.

So out of say 70 offensive snaps you mention 3 or 4 bad plays???..I think Brady may have had about 6 or 7 tackles, the Giants had some ggod plays yesterday, but they did'nt run wild on us yesterday like they did in the first game. That is a direct result of the ILB's play. Maybe you need to pay attention to the little things also.
