Why did they trade Amari Cooper again?

According to Jerry on his radio interview, it was money. Our passing game hasn’t been as good since he was traded. It was a big mistake!
He can say it was all about the money but it was pretty clear Jerry was peeved about Cooper missing games during the whole thing we are not allowed to talk about here. Jerry seemed to think Cooper put himself before the team.

Yeah, he was pissed about the games he missed due to the illness. However, I do believe part of the reason was money.

I was pretty adamant about keeping him and trading Gallup but it's over need to stop this one being brought up.

It was the right move.. he wasn't worth the money and they had to unload the contract. The crying over Cooper is funny. He was the #1 receiver, replaced by a new #1.

It was a locker room thing or?

Cooper so far in 2023 - three games___
17 catches for 243 yards = 14.29 yards per catch, 1 TD.

You dont publicly stick your nose up at JJ and stay on the team, Cooper did that and to cleveland he went....

According to team sources, they soured on him in the playoff loss to SF. I think they looked at the tape and saw his lack of effort with the game on the line in the 4th quarter and just decided he wasn’t worth 20M a season.

Yes but Jerry also made some cryptic comments after the whole missed games thing and some in the media reported he was peeved about it. I think it was definitely a factor.

With Deshaun Watson who finally had a good game since he arrived in Cleveland.
