I was fine with it. Risk of trying to advance and fumble outweighed the return. A first down ends the game and if not, the Rams were not going to score 2 TDs with no timeouts.

Incorrect. He caught the ball at around the 3. The game was far from over and he could have got the offense away from our own endzone. It was a boneheaded move that didn't cost us. There wasn't a Ram within 15-20 yards. Get the hell up and run. It's a field position game at this point. It's as if he thought the game was over.
