Why didn't we go after Aaron Jones?

Because this is Jerry's toy and he gets to play with it however he wants. Dallas isn't just paying Zeke 2 mill. They're also on the hook for another 6 mil in dead cap space for Zeke. Henry went to the Ravens for 8 mil. Let that sink in.

Okay, but Dallas would have that dead cap amount whether they signed Henry, Jones, or any other running back or if Elliott was playing somewhere else this season.

Yes they would. Now go look at what Jones signed for.

That has already been pointed out in this thread. He was signed for $7 million. Elliott was signed for $2 million. The $6 million dead cap money still applies if they signed Jones for that much.

With CD and Dak contracts I think Jones was aware of the cap the limits . My whole thing wasn’t Aaron Jones it was not drafting a RB at some point .
