Why disguise and confusion is no problem for Cowboys Dak Prescott

The only loser is someone calling Dak Prescott a loser. He’s accomplished more in life than you ever will.
7-9-1. Is that the record of a winner?

Parcells after the team reached 8-5 in a 16 game season after 3 straight 5-12 seasons: "Well, you can't call them losers anymore."

Parcells: "You are what you record says you are."

See winners operate with a bottom line of Ws and Ls. You are a cheerleader so...can't expect you to understand. You just cheer no matter what the record or score is.

A better comparison would be my life vs yours. I don't need vicarious validation through a pet player.

The point is that Mahomes didn't care about the "brotherhood" he cared about HIS TEAM...his real brothers. AND CHAMPIONSHIPS.

See...none of this would need to be explained to you if you had a shred of football dignity left. You'll do anything for Dak...lie, look stupid, replace your hands with poms-poms.

So yeah...is Mahomes a brother still? I know you like to be the gatekeeper on who is a real one and who isn't.
Oh is that what he meant by brotherhood? Yeah Mahomes is a brother for sure. Best qb in the league.

Cool. Great! Agreed! So what BS - you would know that for sure - was Dak spitting about having to take the most money for "the brotherhood"?

If Mahomes is better and took less money - and is still a brother - then...what was Dak talking about?

Sounds like BS to me.

Funny you attacking him when you talk about Dak more than anyone lol. You admitted your life mission was to talk negative about him until he leaves….yet, you are talking about someone’s life and how they live it? You should be ashamed of yourself.

Dak probably is talking BS you don’t need a brain to know he wanted the most money possible lol. If Dak has a mic in his face he’s gonna feed you crap. He’s media trained. You just finding this out?

Hate on blankshooter.

Who makes the most money and is most responsible for the team’s lack of success? That’s who I’m talking about. I know you would rather talk about the left tackle…takes the heat off your pet player.

Nah…think I’ll keep talking about the dead weight.

Is that why you live vicariously through him? If you pretend you are Dak, his accomplishments, fill some void and become your accomplishments? Bottom line is, this team has been mediocre for so long. not much has changed since Romo to Dak. Real cowboys fans want to see the team get further in the playoffs. Some player fans want to see that player get stats. You have one side asking each year, how can you be a cowboys fan and not be a fan of Dak. You have the other side saying, how can you be a cowboys fan, if all you care about is one players stats but not the team progressing from one year to the next in how well they do in the playoffs. Over a decade of Romo and over a decade of Dak, and some of you would be happy about how many yards the quarterback got in a season, and that is your superbowl.

How come no one is talking about Jerry?

He suckered some of you again.

Life's mission? Is that what I said...or is that your hyperbolic fainting chair pearl-clutching fan-girl interpretation of my devotion to hold the highest paid player EVER to a standard?

Just because you have no standards and will take whatever Dak tells you to doesn't mean that I have to. You are a doormat...stepped on and only fit for what is on the bottom. I have higher aspirations...don't hate me for it.

We both agree: Dak's word is complete BS and isn't worth giving serious attention. He says things to fool the credulous and stupid.

Glad we could find common ground.

What is there to talk about? It been established quite some time ago that he is the number 1 problem. But pretty much, we will have to wait for him to die, and then Idiot #2 will inherit the team from his father. Strangely enough, why aren't you addressing this to the OP who has in the past posted that Stephen Jones has accomplished more than all of us, in the past, to which some wondered accomplished how, through sheer nepotism?

I don’t remember every post lol.

"You can lie to yourself, but you can't lie to me"

From Google:

Yes, the historic 10-year, $450 million extension Patrick Mahomes signed after his first Super Bowl was considered a highly team-friendly "deal" for the Kansas City Chiefs. [1, 2]
The Chiefs masterfully structured the contract to ensure long-term salary cap flexibility and sustained organizational success: [1]
  • Record-Breaking but Flexible: While it became the largest contract in sports history in 2020, its unprecedented length (10 years) gave Kansas City immense cap flexibility. It prevented Mahomes from resetting the quarterback market every three to four years. [1, 2, 3]
  • Team-Friendly Guarantees: Instead of tying up a massive percentage of the salary cap in fully guaranteed money at signing, the deal utilized "rolling guarantees". This allowed the Chiefs to easily restructure the contract by converting base salaries into signing bonuses, instantly freeing up millions in cap space to sign other key roster pieces. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
  • Rapidly Outpaced Market: Because Mahomes signed for a decade, his annual average value (AAV) of $45 million quickly fell behind the surging quarterback market as other players signed much shorter, higher-paying deals. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Receipts don't lie.

I’m in agreement with you. Dak stinks. Now that we got that out the way….

I’m no voice of reason. My stance on Dak is clear. It hasn’t changed. Only thing that’s changed is I refuse to try and change anyone’s opinion on him. His resume speaks for itself. No hater or fan can argue against what he’s shown.

You have haters and lovers. You have people who post negative about Dak all day everyday. You have guys who post positive about Dak all day everyday.

The problem isn’t a hater or fan. The problem is the gutless spineless tribalism that occurs on the topic of Dak.

They know who they are.
How convenient of you to leave urself out of the mix.
It's true that Dak is a polarizing figure. But the opinions about him are not all black and white.
There are also shades of gray. However, that's the nature of the debate, and i don't see it changing until he's off the roster. Just because a good number of us criticize him doesn't mean we hate the guy, at least I don't.
I do admit that on the topic of Dak, tribalism seems to have fractured the fanbase.

How did I leave myself out of the mix? I verbatim said I’m later of the issue. You guys keep saying people care that guy criticize the guy. We all criticize him. We all know he needs to play better when it matters. That’s not what people talk about. It’s the silly statements and the attacking of posters for being a fan that’s an issue.
