Is it because he didnt get int''s like he did previous year?
Or is it because of some missed tackles?
Isnt he still a good cover guy?

Let's be clear on Diggs...he didn't miss tackles he made business decisions on when to tackle...he can cover but he won't tackle

That's the issue
and you could see this in regular game footage, or only in all 22 ?
I know some were upset he missed kittle on that one play, but that can happen.

It wasnt just that play. That one just looked the worst, but he was doing it in both playoff games.
I have the SF game, will look at that again soon, will try to watch diggs, but they rarely show what is happening down field.
This could also come back to coaching, if you guys noticed why didnt dallas coaches?

Trading Diggs just sets you back to the point of needing a pro bowl caliber CB... Diggs is the kind of player who can help you get to a Super Bowl, so trading him wouldn't be wise unless you got another player worth trading him for, which I haven't seen a scenario posted that suggests it would be a good idea.

People are sour on him over his tackling, and I kind of see their point. But he gives you too much in coverage to just bounce him off the team.

If it was an issue all year I would possibly consider coaching but it was just the two playoff games (at least that I noticed). It appeared he was just trying to look active but not make contact to me.

I’m not in the “Diggs has to be traded” camp, but do believe they need to be open to moving on from someone. Dak, Diggs, lamb, and parsons are all ready to make record money at their positions this offseason and next. In theory the cowboys have enough money to pay them all, but we get stuck in the same cycle of always having a tight cap and never participating in free agency.

Moving a guy like diggs in theory could net you a first round pick, maybe more, and clear up $25M in future cap space you could use to sign other players.

Not sure they have to move diggs, but it becomes very tempting when thinking about the possible return.

Diggs is about to be one of the highest paid cornerback in the league. Cowboys fans as usual are trying to manage the cap. I will say this he needs to tackle like he did vs Cincinnati all the time. He took that game personally because Chase cooked him in college so he can be an all around cornerback when he wants too.Remember some fans want to trade CeeDee and I even seen threads about trading Parsons.

He's like Deion in that he doesn't want to tackle. Deion avoided contact ..i watched him his entire career. He would literally wait for someone to come up and make that tackle...well, Diggs is not as bad as Deion but u get what I'm saying....

Yep, Diggs certainly isnt the problem, however, we cant afford ALL 'Our Guys'. If we plan on extending Dak, the CAP hits are going to be massive (due in part to existing bonused Dead Money). It's not so much how much CAP we've got, it's how much CAP other teams have (which can be used to out bid us).

We cant have everything and choices have to be made.

Does he make business decisions ? Yes
Is he a great cover guy? Yes
Good ball skills? Yes Yes
Should he be traded? This isn't even a question for real fans. You don't trade away that kind of talent at a premier position.

Probably because he is going to cost an arm and a leg and he isn't the best. We do need him which is the problem, but he likely isn't going to be worth the price he is demanding, especially if he doesn't get the picks like he used to.

Just hoping that he'll take a discount to stay here, but we'll see.

good point lol
So is diggs a FA now or next year??
Next year I believe, as this will be his 4th year correct? 2nd round draft picks usually carry a 4 year contract. Don't be surprised if they tag him if a deal can't be worked out.

Because our fans are wild…

We’ve been whining about CB play for a decade and finally got a good one.
