im assuming you do. Everyone seems to. I can't remember ever hearing his name mentioned without immediate eye rolling and condemnation.

The only argument I hear is about the incostitent punishments of players. But my rebuttal is that why should he have to punish players in the first place? We have the police for that. The league only started cracking down on the players Bc of public perception about their image. So why don't the players stop getting arrested then? It's a free country you're free to behave properly any time you want. Last time I checked roger goodell wasn't out at 2am.

Do movie studios punish their actors? Do we still enjoy the works of notorious thugs like Robert Downey jr., Sean penn, charles Barkley, Winona Ryder, Adele etc.?

Since when is letting due process and the 6th amendment take place equate to complicity?

I'd need about 10 hours for a complete answer to this question.

In the end, it doesn't matter what we think. The 32 owners like him. And they pay his monumental salary. It always comes down to this: $$$$$$$.

End of story.

CBA trumps the 6th amendment. Goodell has made some good moves as commissioner but his bad vastly outweighs the good. His inconsistent in punishment is just the most recent of things, no matter how or what they do thing they seemingly seem to completely screw it up but yet still doesn't change the process.

I love you but this is very vague.

I'm not too mad a roger. He makes his money and does his thang.
He should hire Judge Judy to handle the discipline. Just going in front of her and hear her squawk is punishment enough.

If I was an owner, I'd love roger for make me straight cash

Why should they be in charge of discipline? The police have detectives and magnifying glasses and stuff. The NFL is entertainment. Who loses in a scenario wherein you say "he wasn't convicted we live in the USA you're free to not buy his jersey tho"

I think he does what most of the owners want him to do. So, I guess I really don't
like some of the things most of the owners want. I don't like the fact that NFL football has become more and more offense-oriented and much more focused on individual stars. Football is a great team sport. 7-on-7 flag football or touch football are the ultimate offense-oriented, individual-focus games. Don't let the NFL go any further that direction.
