Why do you want to make the playoffs?

If Dallas squeaks into the playoffs, it will be to get embarrassed nationally. There is no amount of "growth" this defense can have this season that will help them against LA, SF, or a host of other NFC teams that run hard, and play to win.

So other than your own "fan" inside, which makes me question the word because any self respecting fan wouldnt want to just get there so they can be "right".

This team needs an exorcism and the only way that happens is if they lose, a lot, and the NFL pulls their primetime slots.

You want to know when Jerry will care? When that happens.

So please, stop cheering for other teams to lose, get hurt, just so the lowly Cowboys can sneak in to get curb stomped by SF, again.

Or please explain to me why you even want to get there. You know this is going to happen. It is not a what if.

This team can beat anybody and get beat by anybody, still honestly feel it has more upside then it has in years, I knew last year would be under 500, this year thought would make the playoffs, I could easily be wrong on that. Anyways no one thought the Giants who were the Wild card one of the bottom seeds were going to beat the juggernaut Patriots and damn it happened. Is this likely? No, but just get into the tournament, either that or be flat out so bad everyone gets fired, sad thing is it does less for us this year too, just make the damn playoffs, we won't have to be great.

What would you call the players of this team who embarrassed themselves last Thursday? Then got mad when they got called out for it?

The Giants had a good D the entire year. Eli then caught fire in the playoffs.

At no point has any team with a 32nd ranked D won the SB.

The season doesn't end today. I'm not expecting miracles there though, can surely be better than 32nd.

This D isnt getting above 25 unless they can figure out how to get to the passer.

No amount of CBs is going to fix a pass rush that cant get to the QB.

They havent gotten to the QB consistently since Parsons left.

It’s like chaos back there
It looks like we’re getting there, but then fail what we’re supposed to do when we get there
If we could keep line assignment, I think we could have success
 
New York Giants, 2011,considered the worst statistical defense to ever win a Super Bowl, finishing 25th in the NFL in yards allowed (376.4 yards per game) and allowing 400 points during the regular season

Its more than that, a lot of these guys dont get to the QB. I dont care about pressure rates because if that matters getting rid of Micah was even dumber than it was originally lol. Guy had top 3 pressure rate in the NFL every year in Dallas with the sacks to go with it.

You are leaving something out. Not sure if that was on purpose but Ill assume no.

They were ranked 3rd in the NFL in Sacks with 48.

And they got BETTER in the playoffs.

The Cowboys havent improved in the playoffs since Johnson was here lol.
 
So Many people still think we can overcome Jerry and win a SB. It must be nice. Maybe somehow we can upset one team. Never going to win multiple games.

It’s not more than that, we’re getting to the quarterback. It just looks like we don’t know what to do when we get there, that’s what I’m saying.

Then SACKS don’t matter, they’re getting to the quarterback with their stool, getting killed in points and yardage, you need a complete defense, and we’re far from that

Come on you’ve seen it, the quarterback is surrounded and all of a sudden he’s gone, you need to keep lane assignment
Pop Warner, yeah, but they had better coaches than we do, you just can’t put this all on the players they told what to do
