Is that just an acceptance by the Romo crowd that Jones wouldn't build a team correctly with a high draft pick that he might get otherwise without Romo? So we might as well pretend we're good with Romo then accept reality that we're God awful without him thus giving him the leverage? If so then this team is in a very sorry state.
Excellent spot on post. The thing is, no matter what you say, there are some that are just so emotionally attached to Romo that they won't even comprehend where you are coming from. All they remember are the horrible years after Aikman when the Cowboys made some horrendous decisions at QB, so once Romo came along, a big time love fest developed most fans. All of us loved Romo but some of us got emotionally attached and can't let go. Biggest emotional love fest of all is Jerry Jones because of the diamond in the rough he THINKS he found with Romo. I love Tony and he is an amazingly gifted athlete, but his brain shuts down when we need him most. We will never go all the way with him.
