Why dont other QB's use the Romo spin move?

Dak has used it on occasion. Most memorable was his TD in OT last year to a wide open Witten. And of course Roger made a living with spin moves...thus his nickname.

Other QBs do use that move. I've seen Rodgers and Vick do it several times. Hell, I've seen Blake Bortles do it.

It is a good move not hard to learn so why do other quarterbacks not use it at all.

I think becuz it requires the QB to stop looking downfield.

Not many QBs can take their eyes off the defense and still throw.

Most have to run once they start moving.

So mobile QBs can certainly do it but most won't.

Fear of injury is a factor.

Blindly spinning can get you killed.

Well if I WAS Dak I would study film on Tony and try to perfect that move myself.
was watching a 2008 game against Carolina and tony did that move and completed a long pass, and kept drive going for the winning TD.
