Who hates Romo?

seriously. He's pretty much loved universally. Just another "woe is me, everyone hates the Cowboys, we never get a fair shake from the media" comment.

Romo is God. I was talking to a guy the other day who told me the Cowboys would be a better team with Kitna starting. Yet the guy couldn't tell me anything else about the Cowboys except that Romo sucked.

Anyone who has kept up with the Cowboys should know that Romo has turned this team around by himself. We searched and searched for a quarterback for years and low and behold Romo emerges on the scene as a top 5 quarterback in the league, and he surprised most fans in Dallas with his level of play.

In my book, he's the best in the NFL. I know many, or most, won't agree with me. But that's how I see it. The guy is amazing when he has players around him that have the right attitude. Brees is good in his own right, but I don't think he is as good as Romo. JMO

I still think it has something to do with his "pedigree". Undrafted QB's should not be successful in the modern day NFL in alot of peoples minds.

That's a crock of ****.

Maybe Romo needs a birth mark on his face that looks like Rhode Island

I think Brees is a very good QB NO is lucky to have him. I think Tony Romo is a very good QB as well and feel very lucky to have him in Dallas. I understand there are some very good players and QB's in this league we happen to have one of our own.

It's because Brees has a playoff win under his belt and he's the QB of the Saints. The expectations, and ridicule, of Saints players isn't even on the same planet as that of Cowboys QBs.

Bress is a better all around QB, while working with alot less around him on offense and no defense what so ever

Romo = 140.6 rating = God

QB RATINGS ARE FOR SUCKERS, the most asinine stat to show the ability of a QB. What's Troy Aiman's qb rating, and campare his three rings to Romo's QB rating and tell me, which guy you'd want..

Are you really asking this question? Brees just compiled a season in which he was the 2nd QB in NFL history to pass for 5000 yards, and then came out in the opener and put up 6 TD's.

And no one thinks Romo is a turd. Stop playing the pity card.

Att Comp Yards Comp % Yards/Att TD TD%

27 16 353 59.3 13.1 3 11.

Actually, I think Drew Brees is underrated.

Brees was outstanding at San Diego, but what he and Sean Payton are doing in New Orleans is amazing. He doesn't have Randy Moss, or Jerry Rice, or Marvin Harrison, or Reggie Wayne ... he has a group of decent receivers and they are lighting it up again this year.

I think Brees and Romo are both great and should be mentioned among the top quarterbacks in the game right now. The only thing that separates them from Manning and Brady is the hardware.
I'm agreeing with you alot lately, Chief.

Please stop it. :)

After this weekend, the only QB who had a better Sunday than Romo was Brees.

In today's game, as opposed to the 1990s game of NFL football, I'd take Romo.

Call me crazy.

This is what seperates him from the Jamarcus Russell's of the world. Better from the neck up (intangibles) than from the neck down (measurables). Give me intangibles every time.

That's Romo's best asset--intangibles.

Romo gets as much positive pub as any QB in the league. I don't get the paranoia. He puts himself out there with dating celebrities but it has nothing to do with the love he gets from the media on playing football.

You so crazy.

Actually, for a team like ours with an inconsistent o-line and a running game that you can't really depend on, Romo is probably about as good as you're going to find. We need a guy who can make something out of chaos on a somewhat regular basis.

But as I've said before, if I'm starting a team tomorrow and building around a franchise QB, I'd choose Aikman. Absolutely no question.

You're crazy.

I'd take Tebow and shuttle him and Buehler in at QB; and win Super Bowls.

You can keep Aikman.
