Why is this team so underrated?

Eagles and Giants are stealing the spotlight in the NFC East for no good reason, really. I know it's preseason, but the Eagle's defense hasn't looked good, and the Giants really don't have a good offense. Cowboys seem really balanced.

Underrated is just what we want. Been overrated recently and I would rather fly in under the radar.

And December is the toughest part of the schedule, again. If we've lost a couple key players by then, get ready for another offseason of stories about a December collapse.

Yeah, because a lot of teams would love to have our lack of depth at TE, RB, QB, and our top 3 CB's.

Exactly. Instead of worrying about ratings.. just get it done on the field. They can leave all of the shoulder braces on the shelves this year. Since our players wont be getting the big heads, hopefully they'll take the field every week with increased focus.

You're talking about the preseason. Did you not watch the final four REAL games last season? This is a show me league. Just because Dallas is loaded as far as talent goes that doesn't automatically mean they'll be a good team. If the Cowboys want to be considered one of the best teams in the league, they can't be choking up a ten point fourth quarter lead to Pittsburgh. Can't let Baltimore RBs go 80 yards TWICE after getting into position to steal a win. Can't get blown out by your most hated rival when a playoff spot is on the line. It's time for this team to show us. Period! Until then, they won't and shouldn't be considered an NFL elite. JMO

You can be unsold, thats cool with me and you can also wait until Dec as well but you're gonna miss a lot of the season. Our starters look very focused and have showed good work ethic. Those 13 penalties are coming from a rack of backups playing. Don't confuse the two, the starters are my concern....

I didn't say I wouldn't watch.....:........but I won't be confident in this team until they win late in the season. The poor special teams play in the Tennessee game stand out for me as an example of an area where focus and work ethic were NOT in evidence and the starters were in on one of those disasters. Funny how those backups from the Titans had so many FEWER penalties.

I hope your assessment is correct, but this team does have something to prove.

Because... Roy Williams played marginal with his last team. Therefore, surely it was his fault and had nothing to do with is supporting cast.

My guess is the no playoff wins in a dozen or so years for starters...or maybe the 9-7 record last season.

In any case, let them think the Cowboys are not going anywhere and let's just watch them eat their words.
