Convince me otherwise.

We're 3rd in the league this year in overall Offense. Compared to the Bucs at 8th overall.

We're 11th overall in defense compared to your 8th overall. The debacle thats been the last couple games weighs heavily in that area, admittedly. However even with the losses we allow just nine more yards in rushing on average per game than your defense and just two yards in passing on average.

This team is extremely talented, and even if Romo doesn't play, they're going to give your team a fit.

I've rarely ever seen this team lay more than two stinkers in a row. They're due for a big bounce back...

You are underestimating the Buccaneers. Much like the Carolina Panthers did, who BTW, are a much more talented squad than what's on the field in Dallas.

Penalties
Cowboys: 3rd
Bucs: 12th

First downs allowed
Bucs: 2nd
Cowboys: 12th

Turnover ratio
Bucs: +4 (and better now that Garcia is at QB protecting the ball)
Cowboys: -6

Time of Possession
Bucs: 33:27
Cowboys: 30:29

Defensive scores
Bucs: 4
Cowboys: 0

Net Points
Cowboys: +12
Bucs: +54

Record vs. NFC
Cowboys: 2-3
Bucs: 5-1

And here's one more snippet to consider.

The Bucs have compiled a 5-2 record against opponents with a .532 win %, while the Cowboys have a 4-3 record against opponents with a .444 win %. A schedule nearly 10% tougher. We've played better, against tougher competition and have a better record to show.

We are prepared for this game. Likely more than the Cowboys.

Yes, we'd have a shot.

Romo is careless with the ball. With 5 interceptions and 6 fumbles in 6 games.... against a defense that scores on mistakes like that.... boy... that's an awful hole to be putting yourself in.

We are not the Bucs of 2006. That line of thinking will lead to a blowout. Ask the Panthers about that one.

and your defense/team isn't the bucs of 2002. you come in here throwing stats around thinking your team is something great. a lot of football to be played. but i will tell you your offense will be your downfall.

Time will tell.

That D scored 9 TD's. This D has 4 already.

Ronde Barber has said that this is the best secondary he's ever been a part of. And considering he was a member of the '99 and '02 Bucs defenses.... that's a statement.

Our offense only needs to be steady and protective of the football.

IM almost positive he can throw the ball much harder and he is
way more mobil than brad. Brad was lucky he didnt throw 6 pics
that game vs the rams.
brad had no good throws.

probably doesnt know much of the offense, or possibly they've watched him every day in practice and decided he isnt very good, or maybe a combination of both.

the fact he wasnt even brought in to mop up in a blowout loss last weekend when the starter was playing poorly kinda says alot I think.

BB was the emergency 3rd QB......only eligible to enter the game in the case Johnson & Romo went down........

and the Cowboys made a decision not to play Romo

I think the 3rd QB can enter the game, but if he does the other two cannot play afterward...I dont think it matters whether both the 1 and 2 guys get hurt

At least give Bollinger a shot. How do you know unless you put him in for a little? Why just hand the job to Brad regardless of how he performs? Make Brad earn the job and know that he is one screwup away from sitting the bench.

because the coaches watch him every day in practice and also know how much of the offense he actually knows

the fact he didnt play any at the end of the blowout Rams game pretty much says all you need to know

J/K. Seriously though, I like telling people I'm putting them on ignore right before I do it. It brings me joy. Sorry it bothers you so much.

you say that like they were talked about one of the greatest defenses ever assembled. Only TWO teams have i ever heard talked about as the greatest defense ever the 85 bears and 00 ravens

I'd put the 70's steel curtain in there. Along with the 86's Giants D.

In one of those seasons the steel curtain pitched like 6 shutouts. That's impressive.
