Why isn't Carpenter playing?

i think carp is a mlb who needs to be able to run free. because he really does run and tackle well.

just not the physical presence needed for a 3-4 lb.

^Because i know hes better than Akin Ayodele. Go back to the Giants game. The most pressure we got on one play was when Carpenter was in the game. But i know nobody remembers that. All i know is when he gets his shot hes gonna prove the doubters on this board wrong. The same ones who said Newman sucked. The same ones who said "I hope we draft Brady Quinn, Romo is not a prime time qb". The same ones will be eating their words.

Seems to me that the biggest problem is that Carpenter hasn't forced himself onto the field. I think we're at the point where that is on him...He just hasn't carved out a niche for himself, either because of what the guys ahead of him are doing or because of what he is not doing.

By the way, that doesn't make him a bust either. That's a pet peeve of mine - Let his career ultimately speak for itself.
