Why isn't Miles Austin being used more * MERGE*

So what changes next game though? If RW is healthy, there's no way they're going to sit him and you need Crayton out there with his sure hands. What do you do?

That's a joke, right?

Great evaluators of talent. Clearly Austin sucks. 10 catches 250 yrds.

Yeah.

I don't care who you are if you drop 250 yards in a game from the wideout position you don't suck.

They'll be counted as drops by Stats LLC.

So the Cowboys' big-play receiver doesn't possess the surest hands.

What else is new?

Btw, after today, Choice is averaging 5.1yds/carry.

Today though, Choice had 92yds on 8 carries (11.2yds/carry) Even without the 36yd TD run, Choice had 56yds on 7carries... that's 8yds/carry.

Sure, it's not Felix Jones big play ability, but he can break off a big play here and there in a game if given the opportunity.

play Crayton in the Slot

I guess maybe it's time to move to an offense with predominantly 3 WR sets. That's if we're willing to stick with what works.

He still has the best hands of our wideouts.

Yeah, especially on those punt returns.

He is what he is - a journeyman receiver who doesn't scare anybody.

He's a big part of why teams crowd the line of scrimmage against the Cowboys.

And despite his best efforts, the Cowboys still won today.

Thats crazy, especially with our TEs and RBs being so good.

Let's not go crazy here. It was the Chiefs. They're 0-4 for a reason. They tackled horribly today, and Miles took advantage.

That being said, he definitely needs more opportunities. Because I think he just gained all the confidence in the world after today.

That may be all he needs to rid the case of dropsies.

Look in the dictionary. Crayton's not a journeyman WR. He actually does have pretty sure hands and is a solid, if unspectacular, WR. We have some good talent on our team and it is up to the coaches to get them plays. Unfortunately, our coaching staff does not inspire confidence in that regard.

I think I deserve some props for starting this thread before this game... Mods hook me up with a special star or somemthing.
Mad props, bro! Seriously!

When I saw that you posted that six days ago I was like, wow!

OK, he's an average receiver who doesn't scare anybody.

Feel better?

I'm calling it right now. Ogletree has 7 receptions for 96 yards and 2 TD's. After the win against KC, the entire media week will be dedicated to Ogletree and whether or not he should start opposite Roy with Crayton coming in the slot.

I love this

No, because I don't buy the rest of your assessment that we happen to win despite Crayton. Sorry, but that's just nonsense.
