I believe, the Catch, where he just make like Michael Irvin type of play of just not letting the DB make Int and instead make it a big gain. The TD on the tackle breakers were great too, but I think the one he made where he just made a play when it would or probably should have been Int.

Why? Because now, Romo can trust him to make a play, even when is covered or at least break up the pass, if not all the time, at least most of the time.

Don't know what all this means to this team for this season, but if Austin can keep getting 4-5 catches a game and somewhere between 50-60 yards, he would probably be No. 1 WR. And best part of it is? Austin is a guy who will never ever throw his QB under the bus. And second best part of it? I hope this spells end of Crayton as Starter, barring injury and in the off season a good bye.

A good for nothing Big mouth who always comes up short in clutch. I am starting to instensly hate Crayton now :D

No, because I don't buy the rest of your assessment that we happen to win despite Crayton. Sorry, but that's just nonsense.

Did you not actually watch this game?

He handed KC one touchdown with a fumble and got lucky that they blew the call on the other!

You can be his apologist if you want, but it doesn't work with me.

I see a number 3 or 4 receiver lacking the speed to threaten defenses.

He's fine in the 3 or 4 role. Otherwise, he's s detriment to this team.

I completely agree. One thing I really liked about him was he was the only receiver to not look up to TO. I thought that was big of him and showed he is a team player.

Um wow at the KC CB tackling Austin is the tackle-stopper.

I will say this if it was RW's on those catches would have been stopped -

on both td's

Yep that too. I forgot one more thing, he will never question his OC or play calling or blame others for his lack of success.

They did run a WR screen to Miles Austin and he got stood up by Dawkins. Austin just doesn't have the skills to be a top WR, his routes are something to be desired and he clearly didn't run the correct route on the Romo pick. Romo put that ball on the outside and why in the world Austin didn't break outwards is mind bottling...

Two things...

First, the guy who "doesn't have the skills" set an all-time Cowboys record today (and one that had stood for 43 years).

Second, "mind bottling"? You mean mind boggling.

IMO those things are a big reason he is successful. He has a grounded view of reality, so he realizes there's things he needs to improve on. He also has a lot of physical talent too though.

Then he's mixing his metaphors at best.

Or maybe he's making a pop culture reference to the movie "Blades of Glory".

He is not a good route runner....honeslty...NONE OF THESE WRs are. Big guys need to really get the ball on the move...let them try to break a tackle or run away from the defense if fast enough...but timing routes...getting in and out of breaks...this is the reason Stanback was NEVER going to be a good WR for this offense...and why the guys we have are not great for this offense. Irvin and Aikman could run timing routes in their sleep....we don't have anyoen that can do that. Slant, posts, pick plays, flys....that is all these guys can run...problem is, you can't have a team full of guys where all of them can only run certain types of routes. the best route runner on this team does nto even dress on Sunday....Olgetree.

...and Miles got 250 yards out of that concept!!!

DID THIS GET THROUGH TO YOU GARRET????

You never know, on any given day, who Slate will like or hate. Right now he's probably jerking it to a picture of Miles Austin. He'll lay low for today, but I guarantee you tomorrow he will be talking about how Austin is our only hope to make it to the playoffs.

Btw, after today, Choice is averaging 5.1yds/carry.

Today though, Choice had 92yds on 8 carries (11.2yds/carry) Even without the 36yd TD run, Choice had 56yds on 7carries... that's 8yds/carry.

Sure, it's not Felix Jones big play ability, but he can break off a big play here and there in a game if given the opportunity.

Another reason why he needs more reps over Barber...

If Austin isn't starting after the Bye Week, I say we all make a trip to Valley Ranch.. Know what I mean?

Why because we suck at coaching and talent evaluation. Here is Austin with a 250 yard game and how long has he been on in the club. Kinda reminds me of Philly atleast their coaching staff has brains they have their rookies and young wr's catching balls and making plays where was Austin last week? Playing and simple it goes back to coaching and talent evaluation two aspects that we suck on....BIG TIME!!

knowing Wade and Garrett they will probably start Crayton and Roy to not hurt Crayton's feelings boo hoo...just like with Barber and Choice...the coaching staff on this team has no dam spine .......useless I say. And no Austin won't be starting.

How many times have we bashed Austin.? Remember this the next game he drops a TD pass and has 1 catch.

Personally, I would like to see him the number 2 and let Crayton go back to slot and spelled by Ogletree.

Hurd is good as gone after this season.
