Everyone is posting about when Kellen should get a raise and when Jerry needs to choose between him and Garrett.

news flash: if Dak were as inconsistent as he’d been the first 3 years, things would probably be better than they were but would be nowhere near where they are now.

Kitna fixing Daks mechanics and getting him to process faster is what’s making the huge difference. Kellen is certainly calling great games, but Kitna is getting Dak to be able to execute it. The deep ball is on point most times now and not ending up 30 yards into the stands like we saw with how many sideline passes last year.

also it’s easier to call long pass routes when the OL is giving you time which can be directly attributed to Fredericks return. 6 sacks through 2 games last year. Only 6 total pressure through 2 games this year.

No no, Dak hasn't made a big jump in proficiency, it was just Linnehan holding him back.

I said last year kitna could be the dark horse to helping dak.
But the truth is we dont know the truth!! lol We dont know who is doing what.
Kellen is getting credit due to what he is doing is fairly obvious, but I think it is a combination of several things.
The OL is better thanks to fred
Kitna
Kellen and semi new offense and better play design and calling
Dak himself , is more determined may have worked on things himself during offseason
better group of receivers, I would say this is the best group dak has ever had

Then add to all that they got off to a good start in the passing game, and that motivated players and coaches, and gave them confidence
and it sort of snowballed.

I've already thought this, so even though he hasn't been mentioned, there's a few of us that appreciate him.

What I notice is that Dak's throwing motion is significantly faster and quicker with more zip. Its no longer that overhead windup that tends to make his passes go high.

I agree Kitna is part of the solution this year. John is a lunch pail type guy and the boys made a great hire when he came to Big D. Dak also should be given credit as he had to be open to learning and practicing these new concepts. Dak bought in and after two weeks into the season it really shows.

I'm a Kitna fan, but reportedly Dak got other QB coaching during the offseason too, so it's hard to know who fixed what.

Also, the time given by the oline is *less* than last year. Dak's time to release is down half a second from last year. But the oline is blocking better too.

It's upgrades all around.
Dak more accurate and less hesitant.
Fredbeard for Looney.
Williams beefed up.
Moore for Linehan
Kitna for Moore
TEs and WRs better.

Got luv for everybody on offense.

Kitna wasn’t here last season when Dak went on a tear. I do think Kitna has helped but all this is premature after two games.

If Kitna has helped him playing better than I give him credit. He did better than Moore did. But this is also Daks 4 year and I expected him to be playing better. Our O-Line being healthy has helped a lot.

The change in Dak's throwing motion, his improved footwork, throwing velocity and his accuracy is a credit to what Kitna has done for him. Additionally, Cooper Rush has made great strides in his improvement from last year to this one. Many kudos to Kitna for how our QBs have improved in the past year. The progress made in their performance in such a short period of time was surprising. ;)

It's obviously both coaches. I was excited when they brought in Kitna.
