Right on. I should have figured.Sorry that’s what I meant.
That if they extend money they’ll get additional cap and the $6 mill is nothing

With that, send a wake up flare up the day that the agent gives up trying to replace Musk.Yep.
Jerry has already said earlier about last year's 2 good impact FA signings in Dak and CD's contracts were a good thing last year..
And then followed it up with if they can do that one more time (with Micah) this year, that it would be a good thing.
That's the precursor for Micah to getting his mega deal and dealing with less than optimum free agents all over the place once again.
The Cowboy Way has been firmly established.
Waiting for the dumpster to be restocked,Are they out on spring break???? Why no more signings - get another cb and wr signed. Best dl/de available would be good too.
That yacht fuel is expensive!I have no idea where the money will go, DNA kid needs to change the batteries in his calculator daddy gave him.
Being relevant and hanging around the rim, baby! All fine if it’s tied into some sort of rebuild plan, but it isn’t. Either you’re trying to win now or you’re not. These two probably think they can pull off some middle ground thing.
I think Keenan Allen and Calais Campbell would really help this team a lot. It's not that I think either is the player they were 5 years ago. It is because of how dreadful they are at run stopping DT and #2 WR. I also think both will sign for an amount that matches their age. Campbell may retire and even if he doesn't I don't think he wants to sign before August but he was fantastic at stopping the run at his advanced age last year. I'm not sure either wants to sign with Dallas at this point of their careers. If I were either of them I'd chase a ring. But, that is just an example of two players who would make a difference IMOEveryone executed their plan, Dallas included.
No one is out there that would make much of a difference. That’s over.
The ONLY thing I miss about Garrett was his and Charlotte's constant flirtations with each other during the Draft in the War Room. That yacht fuel is expensive!
Also, Charlotte wants to buy some more artwork for the Star.
That part is referred to as culture...own the Celtics yet? That yacht fuel is expensive!

'presidential' qualities: 3 wives and 8 confirmed mistresses...c'mon - Cowboys! The ONLY thing I miss about Garrett was his and Charlotte's constant flirtations with each other during the Draft in the War Room.
It was must-see TV for me.
That 40MM is Parson's money and for our drafted players. Are they out on spring break???? Why no more signings - get another cb and wr signed. Best dl/de available would be good too.
depending on the contract, Parson's cap hit could actually go down this year. So realistically that is not a factor. At most seven would be needed for the rookies. The money is there; just no will or plan to use itThat 40MM is Parson's money and for our drafted players.
As of now, projected to get 2 - 5th round comp picks.Yeah I was thinking exact same thing but was listening to Jeff Cavenagh explain that if they sign or trade for a guy for an amount of over 3.5mill per year to replace a guy that they lost, they then lose any compensary pick they may have gotten had they just lost the guy to free agency to another team.
The deadline for that is the date of the draft. So basically after the draft, this is no longer in effect and they can sign whomever they want without losing comp picks.
So obviously Cowboys, as well as other teams, will wait til after the draft to sign free agents they think will make it.
.
Because going into the season without massive holes and relying on mid round rookies to be day 1 starters very well could fix everything. Why do some of you think that blowing money in FA is going to fix everything? The ignorance and stupidity of some fans just blows my mind!!
Great point. Draft class is around 6-10 million. Extend Micah and that’s pocket change at this point
