Maybe the guy was doing it too much and I wasn't aware, but BrainPaint deleted a thread that said it's now proven Rush is the answer not Dak and called him a troll.
I have CLOSED a number of troll threads the last few days. But it is normally not the topic that gets shut down as I stated there is more than one with this topic, including this thread. That is not posted in a manner to troll

Some of us are done with Dak, and it's only going to get worse if we continue to flame out every year. There's no stopping it except to win.
Rush is not the answer to Dak
I understand that many no longer like or trust Dak, if they ever did

However let's try to be a little more realistic than saying its proven now that Rush is the answer...because that is just silly and even the OP knows it,

You're just continuing to inject your opinion and making it fact. I would say Rush played well enough to deserve a chance to continue. If Dak wasn't here he would have gotten that chance. Including Minnesota in 2021 he was 5-1 as a starting QB. No he wasn't throwing for 3-4 TDs per game, but he wasn't turning it over at all (except Philly the top seed in the NFC). Brock Purdy is not throwing for 3-4 TDs a game either but their team is in the NFC Championship game and he beat Dak.

He's not as bad as some make him out to be. He surely wasn't as bad as I thought he was coming into the season. The way I see it, you can load up with a fresh RB, a new, OL, WR, and maybe TE, and he can drive the bus.

Do you think Cooper Rush is capable of running San Francisco's offense?

With the right players around him, Cooper Rush is probably the best option we have right now, in my opinion.

If Rush started against San Fran, do we win?

I think so...
He does not have the physical abilities, sorry.

You can believe Rush could be the man,
I do not,
I don;t think the Cowboys do either. Heck they CUT him at one point and I think he was around 28 at that time. He is now 29.
If they are going to replace Dak with another full time starter it will be a Rookie or an good veteran.
Its not going to be rush who is almost thirty,

Here's a fact. The one time an opponent scored more than 17 points Cooper Rush couldn't keep pace. All of his wins relied on defense and a running game. Not to say he didn't make any throws, he did, but he's not dynamic enough to be a successful full time starter in this league.

The Eagles game where Dallas won 40-34 - there's zero chance Rush wins that game. The most he's ever scored is 25 points.

Dak is maddeningly inconsistent, but his ceiling is higher than Cooper Rush.

I just saw Dak score 12 against the 49ers and 6 against the Commanders. Yeah he was great against the Bucs, but usually when he faces a good defense (the Bucs were not a good defense) he sucks.

I know you'll say that's only two games, but there's just something about him that is just a loser in biggest games.

Rush only had CeeDee Lamb also. His 2nd best receiver was probably Noah Brown. Gallup was still recovering from injury and Ty Hilton wasn't here. I don't think we can say definitely Rush couldn't play better than he did with a better receiving core. Also he just seemed to not turn the ball over except the disaster at Eagles, but he still rallied and only lost by 9 points which for 3 INTs that isn't bad. He threw 0 in his other 5 starts. Turnovers are killer. Dak was a turnover machine.

Too small of a sample size to say Rush was the answer or not the answer. He wasn't given enough chance, and he won't. He's probably not a Cowboy next season unless there's no interest elsewhere.

You don't think people should have a right to their opinion? I saw you close another thread that was pro Rush. He played pretty well in every game except Philly. Some of us have seen enough of Dak and are willing to try Rush to see if he will sink or swim and if he fails so what Dak will too. Dak lead the league in interceptions and missed 5 games. Let's not pretend we're talking about Mahomes here.
And so you're saying a poster doesn't have the right to his opinion? Sorry, but your post doesn't make sense. Brainy is a good dude and had a good post. His post had nothing to do w/ the right to have an opinion.

Oh, and BTW, just FYI, problems w/ a mod are to be addressed privately.

You may be exactly 100% right, but what is it hurting your forum for having an opinion that is counter to that? Someone may really believe Rush is the answer. So you don't want your board with anyone having that opinion? That doesn't seem fair.

I don't think there's anywhere in the rules that says you have to be pro Dak. I was a Cowboy fan before Dak was even born and will be long after he's not a Cowboy. It just came out that Dak once tweeted long before he was a Cowboy he was done with Romo for throwing too many interceptions. Should Dak have been banned?
No one said not to have that opinion.

On this board, we throw out ideas and debate them. Why do you have a problem w/ that?

You must have stopped reading after that post. I already explained it was about a deleted thread, we already talked it out it's over.

You're not a mod to tell me what to do. If Brain had a problem with me he would have said so. We talked it out already it's over. Your opinion means nothing.

Saying Cooper Rush could be a starting NFL QB is like saying Zack Martin could be a starting NFL CB.

Yes, that is exaggeration to make a point. Minimum physical ability is a must have.

Would've been nice to discuss the topic instead of reading about sensitivity training.
