Well, you never had any Super Bowl hopes for this year. Most Cowboys fans did. So I guess my angst isn't really directed at you... it's directed at fans jumping off the bandwagon because of a 2-2 start. I still think there's PLENTY of time to right the ship and make a playoff run with Bledsoe behind center... starting this week vs. Houston.

I would be thrilled with a playoff spot, but Im no where near sold on it happening. I can hope, but hoping isnt enough most of the time.

Wow... how many NFC teams do you REALLY think are better than us? Forget W-L records for a minute because it's only been 4 games... who REALLY scares you in the NFC? I'd say Chicago and Philly right now, but other than them, nobody scares me in the NFC.

Hell, as poorly as we played at Philly, we STILL had a chance to pull it out at the end.

Last year, despite playing more than half the season with the worst OT combo in the NFL, Bledsoe put up nice enough stats to nearly make the Pro Bowl. And we still had a winning record. He was one of the few bright spots on this team, and NOBODY was calling for his head after the '05 season concluded. He helped make us all believers entering 2006.

Now, our defense should be better, our OL should be better, and our offensive weapons should be better. But you claim that the ceiling is 8-8 or 9-7? That's idiotic and irrational. Bledsoe's won in this league before, and he can do it again. Even on the road against a quality opponent. Or did you forget the Carolina and San Diego games last year?

Ooooh Tony Romo did well in preseason? So did Quincy Carter. What's your point?

There is no better alternative than Drew Bledsoe for right now. If he sucks in his next 2-3 games and we lose them, then I'd agree that it's time for a QB change.

But we're 2-2... and still have Super Bowl hopes. Those hopes DIE with Tony Romo at QB. How the hell could anybody disagree with that!?

Hope also dies when receivers are 10 yards behind the defense and the QB underthrows them MULTIPLE TIMES. Hope also dies when the TE is "covered according to Tuna" and yet Bledslow decides to drill the CB in the chest plate.

We have played 2 teams above .500 and your boy Bledslow has 6 INTs in those 2 games......and you are telling me we have a shot at the SB this year:confused:

When Alexander is back, I would say Seattle. Washington behind the mad skillz of the noodle arm some how beat the team we couldnt.

The Bears would destroy this team, Philly are a good match, I dont think the Skins will forget to show up a second time and you know the games with the NYG are going to be hard fought. I just prefer to keep my expectations down near the Earth so when we dont win the SB every year, its not some massive earth shaking disapointment.

To answer your question more fully, I am scared to death of any away game that involves Drew Bledsoe in a hostile environment.

The same noodle arm we dominated in week 2?

Yet you're certain that WE will "forget to show up" when we play Philly again? And before you go off on Bledsoe, remember he wasn't the only one who lost that game. Pat Watkins, Roy Williams, and Mat McBriar all played key roles as well.

Alexander has done nothing this year, even when healthy. And we would've beaten them last year - in Seattle - if Cortez hit that 28 yarder.

You listed 5 teams, 2 of which you wouldn't commit to being "better." So why, again, can't we make a playoff run?

It's one thing to have tempered expectations, it's another to not have any hope at all in your team. Things aren't nearly as bleak as you think they are. Maybe after we beat the Giants and get to 4-2 you'll come around.
