It was a little known grafting when he broke it the first time, but he had a donor and got a clavicle from this guy.

If I remember correctly, in the article I read, the grafted piece was called a crownicle.

At a certain point, I think we could start thinking it might actually be our WR depth or our offensive philosophy that is raising the risk of Romo getting injured. I don't know if that's true or not. But when I look around the league, other top QBs are able to find an open man faster because they have a West Coast philosophy or because they have better number 2 and 3s. That means Romo is holding onto the ball longer, making plays, scrambling, waiting for the defense to break down. Even with a terrific OL, that's not going to work on every play. He's going to take massive hits.

Then explain last year's success.

Maybe if he 'roids up, er supplements his diet, like some other guys in the league his internal parts will have more insulation.

Yes, and if you review the play where he was kneed, the Commander led with that knee to his back.

But every quarterback gets hammered by the defense at some time. The depth of the routes have the same effect on every QB.

I admit Brady and Rodgers have a way of getting the ball away quickly. But as witnessed in the game this year against the Patriots, Brady got sacks several times, even with the amazing way they throw within a second.

Maybe he needs more Magnesium. You might think people with bone issues need more Calcium but without sufficient Magnesium, Calcium is not utilized properly by the body.

That and being hydrated like murray did makes the bones more flexible, less brittle.
Also he should learn the best ways to fall or go down so pressure wont be on that bone.

Every QB gets slammed that way if they take hits. Obviously his upper body has been traumatized by past injuries. He's going to have to learn to get rid of the ball whether it's throwing quicker, or throwing it away. I see QBs do it all the time in the league. Live to see another way, throw that ball away. Hey, that rhymes.

It was somewhat of a freak injury. Maybe the fact he had a similar injury in the same area is a factor but who knows. I will say that the way he extended his arm to break his fall certainly did not help.

Nope - these parameters are routinely tested.
