Why the 49er game is gonna be a close game.

The Cowboys will win this game big because Julius will get off early and often against a crap 49ers defense. This will allow Bledsoe to find Witten whenever he wants by the third quarter.

After the Cowboys get a 2 Touchdown lead you will see Rattay start pressing which will lead to some turnovers. Turnovers leads to points for the Cowboys on their way to a 28-12 win on Sunday.

Oh they believe they are winners, just not as a team. Meshawn, Peerless, Glenn, the revolving door at qb, and Bledsoe....it's a me first group....

Coming from a team with Santana Moss, Sean Taylor, revolving QBs, Clinton Portis and others, should you really be talking about the Cowboys being full of me first guys?

Bill will have his 21 point lead, remember, he was awfully cautious, but we were facing a decent D that held us to 13 points. The abyssmal frisco D should make the offensive play we had against the Chargers look like the offensive play we had against the Skins. We should run these guys outta the building without having to deal with any tricky 3rd downs that give us a chance to be conservative.

It was this type of thinking that got the Rams a L instead of a W in week 1. No team should be taken lightly!

I don't think it was that type of thinking at all that cost the Rams the game. I think it was a number of factors:

1) Division game. We all know how they go, records and ability don't count for as much in them as they do against most opponents.

2) First week of the season. It's always a crap shoot, with teams winning when they shouldn't and vice versa. A lot of coaches don't play their starters enough in the preseason, then the first game of the year is typically ugly.

3) Mike Martz. I don't even have to know what he did in the game to know he screwed something up. He might be an offensive genious, but he's a terrible head coach. His game time decisions are laughably bad.

That first game of the season could easily be the only game the Niners win all year. If they win more than 3 games I'll be stunned. They should be taken lightly, because they suck.

Bledsoe went no huddle that game 21-32 170 and a TD. And the run pummeled them as the game went on. Bledsoe I don't believe even played the 4th.

We are going to hammer 49ers.
Nors, when did you become a Cowboys fan?

The way this team is set up and run, I would expect nearly all the games to be very close.

That's the way it's been thus far.

Does this team have the talent to beat the 49ers like the Eagles did. Maybe but maybe not. Does this team have the talent to beat them by 28 points. Yes it does EASY!!

So why do I think we win this game by no more then 7 points at best. And more likely win it by 1 to 4 points. Cuz Bill Parcells does not play to win. He only plays not to lose.

Parcells has said he is not changing things either. So that means the 49ers will be in this game until the last second ticks off the clock.

Take a look at these comments.

These comments are exactly why the 9ers game will be a close one. Parcells just does not put teams away.

EDIT - if we should win by more then 10 points my guess is it will be because our Defense ran back some turnovers for TDs and it padded our lead.
All of our games are going to be close...we're a team just hoping to climb back to respectability and an 8-8 record, imo. Contrary to all the homerism, we're not really that good, though we have a great young nucleus to build upon.

Our defense is definitely over-rated by fans, as I see it. We've played SD, who has yet to win a game, and the Commanders who hadn't scored a TD till the final minutes of their game with us (23 total points in 2 games), and yet the Skins are 2-0, while we sit at 1-1, having given up more points to those two opponents than any team in our division over the first 2 weeks.

We can control the running game and sack QBs and knock out receivers, and we'll all love watching it, but until the Cowboys' defense can actually stop an opponent from scoring points, it's silly to talk about having a great defense.............................YET.

Don't know about any others but I watched the 9ers/birds game and they looked like a 2-14 team. Rattay was making some of the worst decisions I've ever seen and their defense was extremely lazy. Mike Rumph will prove this week as he did last week (and I'm a hurricanes fan) that he doesn't have a place in this league. Their corners will get abused by our WR's and our O line will dominate. Don't be fooled by their season opening win. They were 2-14 last year and didn't do much last week to prove this year will be any different. Boys roll 30-13.

A Commanders fan chiding anyone about revolving quarterbacks? Unbelievable.

Or not.

3-6-SF 8 :)29) 11-D.Bledsoe pass to 83-L.Evans for 8 yards, TOUCHDOWN. Caught at SF 1. P14

-----------------------------------------------------------

After the first four plays of that first drive -- at which point the Bills still were at their own 45 -- there were 19 Bledsoe pass plays (13 completions, five incompletions and one sack), one Bledsoe quarterback sneak, three Willis McGahee runs and one Shaud Williams run on those three possessions. That made it 17-0 at halftime, and Bledsoe went 5-for-7 in the second half before sitting down after it was 27-0. So I'd say Bledsoe did quite a bit of the damage himself.

I don't expect Bill to take them lightly, but as a fan I'm afforded that luxury. You must understand the Rams are a bad team, I expect the NFC west to send another 8-8 division champion.

Some guys would give Bledsoe no credit no matter what. They are still hoping their field of dreams player comes through.

I didnt say Bledsoe didnt doing any damage. I said it looked like the running backs did most of it as they had 3 TDs. I made the comments below right after I made the one you quoted me on, because Nors provided more info about the game. I live in Dallas, so I didnt see the game.

Oh okay, didnt know that.

That would be the "you know what" if we went no huddle with Glenn, Johnson, Crayton, and Price on the field.

I just dont think the Niners have the weapons to stop that kind of attack or bring enough pressure to get to him.

I have not even went and looked up Bledsoe's stats, what, he has like 4 TDs and no INTs. He is playing good IMO, and so far I was wrong for saying he should not have been brought in.

No way this game is close if we open up the offense. I think if we beat the Skins, we go into this game a little cocky, but we lost, so noway that happens.

I think this should be 2 TD win, IMO, but I aint gonna gurantee a win because I am not as stupid as Peterson.
