Why Tyson Thompson didn't play

hehehe......hehehe.

Everyone is sure in love with the Arizona hero. I don't think I've ever seen an undrafted FA RB rush for 60 yards and suddenly become a guy who's going to run a 4th round rookie or a 1000 yard vet off the roster. I still say he'd clear waivers.

What Wayne? You don't remember Hambrick?!? :lmao2:

Every one has raved about how he has looked in training camp, and he certainly looked good last week. Last night the only time he was shown was to mention he wasn't playing.

I think Parcells wants to cut him and sign him to the practice squad, and he didn't want Tyson Thompson to be seen on national television. If he had played him and he looked as good as last week then he might not make it off of waivers.
Yeah that's it, there's no way other teams could get tape from the Arizona game.

Thompson's main contribution to this team this year will be kickoff returns, and based on last night's results he has a lot of work to do. Very mediocre. It speaks to how little people regard special teams that this isn't the main point of discussion regarding Thompson.

let Denver pick em' up---------they can make a 1600 yd rusher out of anyone...seems to be somewhat true in Minn. also, to a lessor extent, we will hold the jury on Minn. now that Moss gone

Denver will only pick up former Cowboys if they played on the DL.

Thompson didn't play because he has already made the squad. Bill Parcells now has a decision to make on whether to keep Barber or Thomas or both.

I guess great minds think alike. Even if you are a 'Horn fan. LOl.

Parcells hasn't decided anything yet IMO. I'm not going to say 'this is what he's thinking' However, I think he wanted to see Barber and A-train performances of getting into a rythm of a game. Why play 2 series, sit, another 2 series then sit, then another. See how they respond and hold up. Just like when Barber fumbled and almost lost another one. See how he responds to a negative play.

don't be surprised if Barber or A-train sit next game, and Thompson gets more carries. No hiding players in this league anymore. Julius made the team and he sure did get a lot of action, why not just sit him too. A coach does not look for a reason to cut a player, he should be looking for a reason of value.
