Yeah, right.
LandryFan;3261729 said:That's kinda the way I feel, too. However, there's part of me that wants NO to win just because they're underdogs.
Gemini Dolly;3261009 said:Sorry no can do. Im just sick of Saints being called Americas Team and it will only get a bazillion times worse if they win.
get er done Peyton!
Everlastingxxx;3261322 said:Doesn’t matter who anyone roots for. The Colts are going to blow out the Saints. Won’t be a game by halftime.
bbgun;3261150 said:Me too. I admire excellence. And this whole "you gotta root for the Saints because of Katrina" garbage is really pathetic. I didn't witness a whole new wave of Yankee fans after 9/11.
Idgit;3262988 said:I got nothing against the Colts, but how can you not root for an NFC champion that didn't come out of the East and who knocked out MIN after they ran up the score on us and has so many ties to the Cowboys?
Geaux Saints.
Don Corleone;3262957 said:The Saints do have a large contingent of loyal fans. They are indeed the best of fans because they support their team, win or lose. I can only imagine what it would feel like to exist 33 years and then have the 1st playoff victory in franchise history. Many in this forum were on the brink of losing it this year should we have gone another year into a playoff drought.
However, it seems that Saints fans have just come out of the woodwork this year. I get into conversations with some of the bandwagon jumpers, and am amazed with their lack of knowledge of the current players and the history of the Saints. I have no problems with new fans that will remain loyal for years and years to come. It is the ones that will stuff their jerseys back in their closets this time next week, should the Saints lose, that truly bother me.
Many of them can't name but 2 or 3 starters on the team. I dunno, I remember becoming a Cowboys fan in the 2nd grade, nearly 30 years ago, and I think I had the roster memorized by the 1st game I watched, and that was before Al Gore invented the internet.
Dude....you own a Colts jersey?MWILL;3263010 said:If you have Saints fans as friends screaming "WHO DAT?" all the freaking time. It makes it easy to root against the Aints. I'm gonna love to see thier faces when I show up at the SB party with a Colts jersey on. hboy:

Idgit;3263021 said:That's an important exception to the rule. If you've got friends in your immediate circle being ***** about the Saints being there and the Cowboys not, then by all means, you should root for the Colts to spite them.

It's football. It's an emotional and physical battle that pushes player's to the limit every week, and these guys get paid millions of dollars to do their job and if they cant do it right, they should be told off.
Peyton's got a job to do and as long as It gets done, it doesnt matter how family friendly he is about it. Blame NFL Films for putting mics on the players and coaches and always having a camera in their face during game time. When he's playing the game, Peyton doesnt have to censor himself for anybody.
DFWJC;3263018 said:I would not diss those bandwagon people for not knowing Saints history after saying in your post that they just had their 1st playoff victory this season.
Better brush up on your Saints history.

I know my Saints history.
