Why Weeden bashing?

All he is capable of are screens and RB dump offs. He did that effectively today. Aside from the INT, it's hard to say he played a bad game.

But your offense becomes extremely limited if you don't trust your QB to throw it more than 5-10 yards. If that's the case, don't start him. Find someone else.

I actually said do you need some attention and on top of that when did I deny saying it? I think you are the one that is delusional because I made you upset commenting about you starting the thread. Hey it happens no need to be all upset over me saying this was the fifth thread or so on the same topic.

I always say it when people start like countless threads on the same subject in a short amount of time. Its nothing personal just want to know what else it could be that has people do this that's all because I see no point in doing it. Its not personal just an online thing I disagree with and comment on when I see on any site I'm on. No more no less.

Dude didn't even attempt a single pass over 20 yards all game.

If all you want your QB to do is be "check down Charlie"..............then pretty much any QB will do. The problem is that Atlanta realized at halftime that we have no vertical passing game and started taking away the checkdowns and underneath routes. Once they did that, our offense was dead in the water. We had like 30 yards offense for the entire 2nd half by the mid 4th quarter.

Seriously, this looked like a high school offense the second half, that is why the Atlanta players were laughing when they were walking off the field in the 4th quarter.

Oh yeah, that one 20+ yarder that sailed over Witten for the INT. Would love to see more of those too. Randle did great, Dunbar did great. Witten did great. All checkdowns. What more do you want? Terrence "no hands" Williams getting a deep ball? Dude can't even beat his man.

Weeden is a one trick pony.............the king of the check down...........you take that away and your offense is dead in the water.

I am just surprised it took Atlanta till halftime to actually figure this out.

I don't but like you said its a messageboard and that's what people do on them comment for better or worse. Its also what I'd do IRL so I bring the same stuff I do IRL to messageboards. Maybe just like you calling me a name when you feel "attacked" so hey it is what it is.

If your QB cant throw the ball more than 20 yards without it getting picked...............then that's on the organization for even having him on the team to begin with.

News flash........we aint beating anybody outside of Tampa with checkdown Charlie under center...........I hate to break the news to you guys about that.

How many throws has Romo had that have been more that 15 yards in the air? Not many. These wideouts simply can't get separation.
 
I just think its a collaborative effort. The defense was on the field too long......Weeden didn't really give our receivers much of a chance to make plays.....receivers don't get much seperation...offensive line.....for whatever reason just couldn't duplicate their success in the 2nd half. Just a terrible display of football in the 2nd half.

Tom Brady and the Pats seem to make a decent living with underneath routes. There's this mis conception that quarterbacks throw it deep all game. They don't. I mean look at the Falcons. Everything was nearly underneath to Julio and Freeman. The difference between them and us is our Julio Jones is on the bench.

I do know I "started" this where did I say I didn't? I can't get on you that's up to you on how you perceive it and or respond to it. I just posted and you went from there. Still can't believe your this upset at questioning your Weeden thread so much so you tag me in another thread like a snitching first grader. I'm not sorry and its no need to go back and forth anymore so say whatever you want. If its not about football this convo is done on both ends cause we are just repeating the same things over and over.
