The final stats show that Bledsoe was sacked only once, but he took a number of hits, and when he was able to find receivers they were unable to make many yards after the catch.

"I don't know if it's just us or a trend in the league, which I think it is because you see these blitzes on film every week," Bledsoe said. "They're going to continue to blitz us. When teams choose to play us that way, when they choose to pressure us with everybody, we're going to have to make them pay."

On Thursday, they couldn't.

Parcells is all about the bottom line...winning. When teams FEAR your outside WRs they don't throw the kitchen sink at you play after play. The more I read the tea leaves and read Mike Fisher's thoughts on the T.O. to Dallas issue, the clearer it becomes that T.O. will be in Dallas next season. T.O. is the best WR in the NFL for yards after the catch. It's all just business, boys.

If we had an attack offense I would sign TO in a heartbeat. TO would not be happy in this offense. He would be up to no good after the first last minute loss.

Sooner or later these coaches are going to "GET IT". This conservative crap is LOSING us games.

Just play, and take the choke collar off the passing game. We're wasting our time running the football, we suck at it.

Teams were blitzing the Eagles more than they were blitzing us and they had TO, hmmm.

Teams that have trouble running the ball get blitzed.

You run the ball well, the threat of the run slows down the rush. You run well play action becomes much more effective and the blitzes slow down.

You slow down the blitz and you have a better chance of making a team pay for sending one.

I like T.O's numbers thus far this year before the suspension

47 catches
763 Yards
16.2 Avg/catch
Longest was 91 yards
6 TD's
10 catches over 20 yards
4 over 40 yards

That is one pass catching son of a gun.

I guess whoever wrote that article didn't see KeyShawn Johnson stiff arm Darrent Williams to the ground two times and gain a total of about 25 yards after the catch.

Our problems aren't with our WRs. Our problems are with pass protection.

Facts, facts and more facts quit it. :laugh2: Signing TO will bolster our running game, hes TO he will be our rb. He will make the line block better and probably even make bledsoe throw better.

He is the one man team known as TO.

The reason we do not have this attack offense is cuz we just do not have the players to be good at it. Terell Owens would be the player that would change us to the attack offense. Why...

reasons are obvious. Teams will key their defense to stop T.O. which means now you have Witten Key and Glenn in man coverage and not being able to stack the line to stop our running game.

People do not wanna hear it but if we sign T.O. it completely changes the way teams play defense on us.

Right now defenses are in charge when our offense in on the field. We take what THEY GIVE US!!

With T.O. and a improved OL it will be our offense in charge on the field and doing whatever they want instead taking what the D gives them.

Great post. Ha ! Are you kidding? All signs point to T.O coming to Dallas next year. You dont like it? So! Dont read the threads discussing it. That is the easiest thing for you to do. Coming into a thread w/ that nonsense is just asinine.

You just have to deal w/ it. This is a message board where all opinons matter. Even mine. :D

There are many moves we have made in the past I didnt like. I never told folks there should shut up over it and post elsewhere.

You might want to just ignore the threads that cause you grief next time.

here we go again...... If the Cowboys hadn't lost yesterday this thread would have never showed up....... Anytime we lose some posters think we need to sign new players to just about every position.... please stop with the TO crap. He won't be available til next March. Wait til then to start your "TO to Dallas march".....

Focus your energy on the NYSG.......... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Even if we Cundiff made that FG yesterday and we won, I still would consider TO to Dallas as a very probable option in the offseason. Any fool watching yesterday could see that our O-line was getting owned when the blitz was on. Would our O-line still get owned if TO was on board? I don't know, but I bet defensive coordinaters would be VERY reluctant to leave their CB 1 on 1 with TO with no form of safety help like the Broncos did yesterday. And I guarantee that D coordinators wouldn't stack 8 men in the box to stop the run because TO would eat that matchup all day long. So teams would have to respect him, and that would open up the running game and also end all the "JuJo Sucks" and "MB3 > JJ" threads too.

Someone is going to sign him and for cheap and Jerry loves to take gambles if they make sense for the right price. That said I dont think WR is the problem Key and Glenn compliment each other very well. 3.4 ypc on the season is the biggest problem, the offense lacks balance.

We also need to acknowlege something that I have yet seen acknowledged, namely, we ran into an excellent run defense yesterday, period. The Broncos defense is for real, Courtney Brown looks rejuvenated and injury-free, and Al Wilson is a stud as well. Nothing wrong with admitting that the other team won the battle of the trenches and that they are a heck of a team as well.

Some villages have one idiot, we have two or three.

Any offense in football takes what the defense gives them. That's how the game works. In the first Eagles game, when they had TO and their obviously better oline, did they do whatever they wanted? If getting the snot beat out of them is what they wanted, I guess they did.

Try making sense sometime, it might give you some credibility.

I know HH. The problem is some of these peeps hate T.O. to much to be real. We improve the OL and get T.O. and our offense will be high power!

I know to SOME PEOPLE in here they get it but they just hate T.O. to much to wanna get it. But we get T.O. is ANY team gonna leave him in man coverage. No way. They are gonna double him.

In Philly T.O. was the ONLY WR. Here we have good WRs but not a real #1 WR. The difference between T.O. being in Dallas and being in Philly is obvious.

If you double up T.O. in Philly you dont get hurt to bad cuz they have nobody else that can really damage you.

You double up T.O. in Dallas you have to worry about Keyshawn Glenn and Witten.

Big difference.

I just have this gut feeling that Mr. Owens is not even close to being a Parcells guy.

Yes, I know Keyshawn was deactivated but he had history with Parcells.

No way T.O. is on this team next year, I just dont think Parcells would sign off on it. However, if he and Owens had history, I think it would happen.

Some people seem to forget that there is this very notable event that takes place each...the NFL Draft.
