3 year project...
Maybe he should take ballet lessons like Herschel did back in the day to improve his balance...He HAS TO get stronger....can’t hand fight at all with OL. Once they hook onto him, he’s done.....and, usually ends up on the ground. Serious balance issues.
Yep, those 2 times that happened this season it was terrible...I'd feel better if he didn't keep getting thrown to the ground like a rag doll.
The trade off is that a DE costs more than say a 4-3 LB; therefore when you hit on a DE in the draft that produces early, then your pick was more valuable than hitting on a 4-3 LB.So what the examples you gave us seem to suggest is that you don't bother drafting one in the first. You get one late and try to develop him OR don't draft one at all.
Just get a guy with his rookie deal expiring (who was drafted in the first round) and pick him up cheap after his rookie deal expires because history says he is going to break out.
It really makes no sense to draft a guy and spend a first round pick on him and watch him piss off all but MAYBE his last year and then pay him $15 million per year.
Why not just blow off drafting one altogether since it doesn't save you any cap room and pay out the *** for one in free agency, and use the picks on guys who will contribute in their rookie campaign.
I'm being somewhat facetious, but not so much. Lol
Like most rookies.3 year project...
I’ll give him two more games, max!! Then I want him cut and banished to Russia.
****-THAT!!!If he's like D Law, he'll be OK and explode during his contract year. Lol

If they played him more, it would happen a lot more.Yep, those 2 times that happened this season it was terrible...
