He has been disappointing thus far but I really havent had much time to marinate in the disappoinment becaue Ive been too busy watching our DL kill opposing QBs. It makes it so much easier to be patient. While Im not encouraged with the pick Im also not ruing over it either. Weve made plenty of mistakes but more often than not these guys develop into really good players. Next year I will be expecting much much more from Taco, or if he becomes neccessary this year lol.

You may end up having plenty of time to get on the bash Taco band wagon. It doesn't appear he is going to stop sucking any time soon.

He HAS TO get stronger....can’t hand fight at all with OL. Once they hook onto him, he’s done.....and, usually ends up on the ground. Serious balance issues.

That's his only shot, to get stronger. This narrative that he is fast is pure folly, even though I have a great deal of respect for some of the people saying it. I couldn't disagree more. Taco isn't fast at all.

On the other hand, how much better would things be if TJ Watt was out there adding even more to the pass rush?

Somehow, he's ready to sack quarterbacks right out of the gate. Steelers are getting quality return on draft investment in year one.

Some of our fans think it is ok for a first round pick to do nothing until his contract year. I am not one of those people. It is a waste of a pick if that happens.

And learning how to rush against professional tackles. Sometimes he just looks like an inept one trick pony.
