Yeah, I don't know how much he'd have to have left to be better than what we had ... and I like Church better than most on here.

I don't think Bethea would be as good against the run as Church and definitely not as big of a hitter as Wilcox, but even at 32, he's probably better in coverage.

I don't think any of our free agents are going to be cheap when there are teams flush with cap to spend. The Buccaneers are up there and can throw funny money at Wilcox that we simply won't be able to match without compromising ourselves. This is called "doing whatever we want in free agency".

People thought we had a bad defense last year. Just wait until we have a noname secondary to match our noname dline. At least we have linebackers though :/

I, for one, will miss Wilcox if he leaves. He was finally learning how to play safety and was a real enforcer back there for us.
