Brings back memories of Tom Landry during Everson Walls rookie year...............he takes some away, he gives some up. Teams are going to go after him, gotta learn on the run

The real issue is if Wilcox messes up, we will charge it as a rookie mistake and from seeing him, he will be his own worst critic..

Allen messes up, and it seems like he doesn't feel at all his job is up for grabs. Almost like he doesn't know he's playing under average.

Wilcox will cost us some big yards this year but he will make some great plays.
Next year his set. Good move.

I would rather watch a young, hungry kid with talent learn on the field rather that watch Allen running in circles. Of course, that could change after a couple of games, heh.

Maybe a lightyear is really not 365 days. The kid seems to be coming along rather quickly. I remember when Woodson was a back up and I just couldn't wait to see him in the game for better or worse.

Demarco does I think. He isn't fit for this offense Louie riddick confirmed my thoughts on Murray. Problem is Dunbar can't hold on to the ball and for some reason we won't get Randle on on Gameday.

Ok but who do you replace Demarco with? Dunbar and Tanner have both fumbled in just two games this season. I guess my point is, I don't see why you would replace Demarco after one game when his backups have both done the #1 sin a running back can do in the NFL. Demarco has held on to the ball.

I made a thread mid-preseason saying that Wilcox at FS & Church at SS could be a really nice combination to look out for this season. Everyone who posted on it said that Wilcox was too raw, & he shouldn't even have a chance to start until mid-season or next year.. Looks like he's getting his chance sooner than everyone expected. We haven't seen too much from Wilcox but I have a feeling he could be a really special player on this defense.

Demarco should be on the bench.

Yeah let's bring in Dunbar, and fumble our life away.

He's the pet cat right now, but something tells me this has felix or julius jones written all over it. Just a goofy RB who can't get out of his own way

I don't think that's the case but we'll see.

Agree. But manning could really ding his confidence long-term....but you have to learn

Why could manning really ding his confidence? So what if the greatest QB ever fools you and you make a mistake. Come on lets give the guy more credit then he's a mental midget.

Jerrah signed him... there's a good chance he's a mental midget.

I don't think Will Allen said anything to be ashamed of. He could have done much worse, especially since it probably came as a big disappointment, if not a shock. He's a pro and I'm pretty sure he'll get over it.
