I hate the Steelers.

I hate them a little bit less after we beat them in the Super Bowl.

But, no matter how much I hate what happened in the 70s, I have, begrudgingly, respected the Rooneys and respected the fact they respect the game of football.

So, it always bothers me that Cowboy fans can root for a crap franchise like the Ravens

Art Modell + Ray Lewis marks that entire franchise as tainted and unworthy of any type of support or praise.

I agree but as mentioned earlier, he doesn't have much help. Same as some have said about Dak.....
Regardless, his team was good enough to make the playoffs and you can’t excuse 4 INT‘s in a playoff game. He only had 3 all season. However, one of them wasn’t his fault. In Herbert’s last playoff game his team blew a 27-0 lead.

Justin Herbert better get used to the choker label. I just finished watching that game, had it on DVR.

I can't wait to hear the excuses and goal post moving he gets for zero playoff wins and playing on a max contract.

He was mentioned in several posts just this week as a top five QB. Saw him called “truly elite” by one of our regulars

And “potential”? He’s about to enter his sixth year in the league.
The history of the NFL is littered with guys who had the talent to be much better but underachieved. Off the top of my head, I've got Jeff George and Jay Cutler. You can throw Tony Romo in there too. Elway was in this category until age 36. Stafford was just a stat compiler too until breaking through with the rams.

Herbert had more INTs tonight than he did over the course of the season. He needs some better skill position guys and the OL has to mature. Their best OL man is a rookie, Joe Alt. Their best WR is also a rookie, Ladd McConkey. The Chargers are an ascending team still building and Herbert is the main cog. His story isn't over.

And the thing is his 2 playoff losses are games in which he was a favorite. You can get away with it if you are an underdog but if you have never won a playoff game in your career and you have only been there twice and both times you were a favorite and lost, its a really bad look.

He's in year 5, potential talk is done with
Not so. He can get better when he is surrounded by better talent. They fixed the coaching problem hiring Harbaugh and Herbert responded with only 3 INTs this year.......he had 4 tonight. But when you look at their offense. His best lineman is a rookie and his best wr is also a rookie. That's a team on the rise. As his team gets better, so will his stock. That's the how the league works.

Have anybody noticed how the Ravens ran the ball 15 times straight? Thats what great offensive coordinators do when they realize the opposition can't stop it.

So for all the people clamoring to bring Kellen Moore back here. Just realize that he isn't intelligent enough to keep doing what the opposition can't stop. Kellen Moore would have called a pass play on 3rd and 2 after the Ravens running game is averaging 7, 8 yards a rush.

Let that sink in for a minute. Make that make sense....

He had 2 of the best WRs in the league and did nothing. At the end of the day you are on a max contract, you are not expected to have a WR group like you had before. Yes it can happen if you are the Eagles but otherwise look at the rest of the AFC: the Bills, Chiefs, and Ravens do not exactly have a ton of elite talent on offense. They have a couple great players but in general rely on the QB to elevate people.

Right there with you except for Romo. Dude was undrafted. Everything he ever did was earned.

George was #1 overall, Cutler was like #10. Herbert was #6.

No one even thought Romo was worth drafting at all.

It just feels bad to say an undrafted QB underachieved. I guess , it could be a “what if .. “ scenario, but it just feels different.

I get your point and don’t want to argue, but I just had to say …
