Will Cowboys trade for an impact player?

(Sorry if this isn’t the right area to post this.)

My gut says no but with the trade of Robbie Anderson today, will The Cowboys try to add an impact player? On offense we could use some TE help. I know our young TE’s are coming along but will they be ready to make a push late in the season? Also, are we sold on Anthony Barr as our OLB? I like him in certain situations but IMO he’s not an every down LB. I also wouldn’t be opposed to adding a new CB. Preferably someone a little more stout than Lewis and Brown. Thoughts?

We shall see. The NFC is wide open so if the Cowboys sit tight and do nothing it will show what the Jones boys commitment is. And that can only be judged by the moves that are made. If you see good players being traded and it didn't take much draft capitol then everyone should be pissed. If the deals were too lopsided than I wouldn't blame them.

The nfc is not wide open. Eagles win hands down first seed nfl and gnats get wild card. Mark my words. Dak and LVE gone after season.

Cardinals just got Anderson from the Panthers for peanuts...

James Washington is the reason they won’t

He’s nothing but a Jag. One of our top priorities entering next April’s draft will be a number one WR.

Nah….they will add another family member around pick 25…probably a running back this time.

Maybe take a flier on a DT who isn’t ready to play around the 3rd round.

And of course Jerry’s annual “would have been a 1st rounder if not for (fill in blank)….in round two.

In all seriousness, if they get gashed in the playoff game on the ground as they are well capable of….yet don’t bother with FA and expect mid round picks to fix it, we seriously may never win again.

If a trade happens it will be for a Wide Receiver. We all know Dak Prescott is incapable of hitting a receiver who doesn’t have a minimum of 5 yard separation

LVE may be gone, but the Cowboys can't release Dak after this season because it would be over $100 million in dead cap. It's not feasible.

To be honest I'm throwing the biggest offer I can offer at the Panthers.

It's gotta sting alittle but won't hurt alot.

My aim
DJ Moore and Derrick Brown.

I would start with Tony Pollard. I get it he is good. But we aren't in postion to resign him. And I would rather get something rather then a pick. Yes it will cost more then just him so Conner McGovern Tristen Hill and Jalen Tolbert. Then I would offer my 4th and 3rd rounder this year and 2nd next year.

Like I said its gonna sting. But I would be happy to do this deal.
Pollard makes it where McCaffrey is an easier trade to swallow.
Everyone else can help them towards a rebuild

DJ Moore isn't worth all of that. Especially since we still don't know what Tolbert is. 1 WR isn't going to fix this offense anyway.

Trying to improve the team by any means other than the draft or bottom feeding FA's is not the Cowboy Way

Sorry but that is a dumb offer as no way Dallas takes on a $20M+/year WR and no way Carolina accepts that BS offer for both Moore and Brown. Send them our garbage for their top players? This isn't doctored Madden.

They should trade for Amari Cooper... lol

The Anti-LVE nut is gonna crap his pants when Dallas extends LVE
before the end of the season. He's viewed by the coaching staff as
one of the leaders on the team.
