Will Cowboys trade for an impact player?

My gut says no but with the trade of Robbie Anderson today, will The Cowboys try to add an impact player? On offense we could use some TE help. I know our young TE’s are coming along but will they be ready to make a push late in the season? Also, are we sold on Anthony Barr as our OLB? I like him in certain situations but IMO he’s not an every down LB. I also wouldn’t be opposed to adding a new CB. Preferably someone a little more stout than Lewis and Brown. Thoughts?

They don't really need an impact player. They have a very deep roster as it is at this point and look to be one of the best teams in the NFC.

I dunno, I know we are all down around here after last night, but I wouldn't "sell the farm" for anybody. I think we have some good pieces. I would definitely kick the tires on Suh. I know he is on the downhill side of his career, but I don't think it could hurt and it doesn't cost you any draft capital.

There are 2 reasons the Cowboys are unlikely to trade (and we like "our guys" isn't either of them)

1. Mid season trades are hard to do without overpaying and just aren't as common as people think
2. The Cowboys are very protective of draft picks, which likely would have to be included with a trade

Dont need anyone there. We do have Washington coming back at some point and then hopefully Shultz can get healthy. The problem is the QB, not the pass catchers.
