Maybe even 6-2? Back in the day, Landry, and most of his contemporaries, had a policy that a player would not lose his starting position due to injury and they had a lot better depth back then. I think that policy dissipated a while back.If they are 7-1 going into week 9, I don't think you can put in romo.
I'm a tony romo fanatic too
lol. You aint kidding. Tell you what if ole Jerry is still alive and Romo can stand up....he plays. Its a certainty as long as there is still guaranteed money on the table!!If Dak performs borderline as he has in pretend season, that controversy will be the gift of the year to the media. And since it will be a young black man against an older white man, Kaepernick will get involved and lay down during the national anthem. And the fact that both guys are likable and neither will fuel the fire will only serve to expand it. They could get more people to go to the polls and vote for QB than for President.
ESPN and NFLN are pulling hard for Dak because they can't wait to devote the usual disproportionate amount of time to the Cowboys but this will really send it over the top. We haven't had a QB controversy since Morton-Staubach and Tom started that out as a tie. Can you just imagine what that would be like today?
Absolutely. Tony is near or at the end.I picked #3 but I can see Romo coming back in 2017 only to get hurt once again.
Yes. Thats a fair assumption. No way Tony comes back at his age and after a long lay off and plays well or looks good. Its a practical impossibility.Great poll.
I voted for #3. I think dak will do ok but he'll get replaced when Romo returns from injury. Only to reclaim the starting position after Romo stinks up the joint later in the season. Romo needs time on the field at this rate he would be too damn rusty and off sync. He'll probably play like crap or get hurt again imo.
A practical impossibility seems , uh, impossibly extreme.Yes. Thats a fair assumption. No way Tony comes back at his age and after a long lay off and plays well or looks good. Its a practical impossibility.
